Chip Foose went to Dos Pueblos High School here in Goleta. When he was a student there he took a VW bug, cut the roof off and fabricated a huge DP Chargers football helmet to fit over it, It's still in use and is present at all the games. Spectacular 56 BTW.

@anlonning yeah but part of his comedy is having to work on the car when he was sixteen and even if it was on the show, they still learn some of the basics so they can keep it all together. Plus the he also had to have a job during the beginning years of him being a comedian because he was only doing mic nights for a while trying to establish himself more.
