If You're happy with the flavor of just tomato, then by all means stick to Your recipe, but there are many raw marinara/tomato sauce recipes online and in books. The raw spaghetti is a classic for raw foodists, and it is one of the first that I tried-I used Jennifer Cornbleet's recipe for the sauce. Also, if You let the squash sit mixed with the sauce for, oh, about 30-60 minutes, the squash softens considerably and has the texture of cooked pasta-if that's appealing to You.
Speaking of squash spaghetti... have you heard of the spaghetti squash? it's a pretty big squash... looks like a long pumpkin. you can roast it in the oven and then crack it open. it looks like spaghetti inside.
finally, something i can relate to, someone who actually made a, raw recipe; just spiralized squash with cut up tomatoes.

the suction cups work...all you do is press it down..then lift the little tabs to release

That looks like the same spiral sicer I just ordered, but the pasta looks thicker than I'd hoped. Is it possible to make it thinner?

Yeah, I used the wrong blade in this video. There is a blade to make it thin.

Thanks for the info! I've been researching the raw diet since mid 07 and I've been to those sites, but thanks anyway!

I'm not sure if there's any raw spaghetti squash recipes or not, I'll have to look into that. I bet there is.

I want one of those spiral things! That looks good. Next time add some garlic and basil in there and I bet it would be even better.
