  • i have this on a mint 12", no turntable, i would thank anyone who could send me a copy

  • EXXXTRA DOPE SOUND

  • nice one

  • FOR NYers, THIS IS TRULY THE FIRST GENERATION THAT CAN SAY THAT OUR KIDS AND US ENJOY THE SAME TYPE OF MUSIC. WHETHER IT BE SALSA, HIP-HOP, HOUSE. THIS SAYS ALOT ABOUT OUR MUSIC (THEIRS &OURS), HOPE IT DOESNT END WITH THEM.

  • Maybe I'm getting old but why cant they make beats like this anymore, I mean seriously whats happening to music!!

  • these are exactly the words my parents told me when i was listening to this kind of music about 25 years ago. just that they talked about bill haley ;-) . time goes by - music changes and everyone loves the music that you hear when you are young and have the best time in your life. that´s the way it is but there is in fact good music today too in my opinion.

  • Well put!! I agree with what your saying. There are still some good music out there. I listed a few on my page in my favorites...check em out!!

  • @Pleasuredome05

    Is the law of life.

Everyone loves the music that they hear when young, but I believe there are good or bad music. I listen modern rap and 1920s Jazz. Music can go out of style, but can be enjoyed in the future without problems.

  • Sorry to say, maybe you are getting old, lmao. There is plenty of excellent well arranged music like this and better. This music was never played on the radio, you either had to go the club (real club), a house party/jam or hooky set back in the day. Many of the Djs that were putting out true music like this are still producing great great music and havent reached their prime yet, ie. David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Lil Louie, (MAW) & Marlon D. You need to get out more!

  • Lol damn, dont tell me what you really think. Pal Joey used to put me on to all the new joints but he moved to France so I'm a little lost but I'm getting there. I recently came across alot of of hot tracks so there's still hope!!

  • @mattylga You may just be looking in the wrong places my friend. Listen to some LCD Soundsystem or anything released by DFA for that matter and you should find something you like :)

  • @mattylga Making fresh beats with old school sound is possible!!!

    I'm on it. :)

  • @mattylga I know what you mean, there is something organic and real about that kind of dance music, and bill haley is fantastic too, bips and clicks and lack of musical hook is happening a lot now, but you still have artists who touch that organic feel and natural accoustic but still in a modern and contemporary way, check Daft Punk, Phoenix and most recently 'Flooze - On the scene' which sound very similar to that KID tune, it is on youtube as well

  • @mattylga don't be stuck in the past! there's great music everywhere! you just have to find it!

  • Excellent song

  • Exist on Dimitry from Paris mix from 1999 i think..

  • I have been looking for this song for a hott minute....thanks a million.

  • Ahhh so this the name of the song. Great tune."Don't Stop" is probably more well known. Thanks for the post. This is how we find song when the name is unknown.

  • nnn

  • This song best of the best in my playlist

  • I think this song was played at Better Days

  • well i think times are different today and the days when you are young are allways the best. for the music i must say the 80´s were the most innovative times i can think of.

listen to my other uploads and you know what i mean.

  • @Pleasuredome05 I totally agree with you, I was a baby in the 80's but I love 80's music and think no generation of music was as innovative especially the music coming out of New York. It's tough finding venues that play this music but when you do, you find people young and old dancing to some damn good music.

  • @ladeshia63 Indeed it was. B) Played it a lot.

  • Quality track
