Dude this footage was running a little faster was it not. Not being critical. Just want to get one of these wings and would like an idea of just how fast they are.
@ratboy881 Hi, no the footage is original and is running at normal speed, it has not been manipulated in anyway. So you need to get a fast hair cut if you want to fly one of these wings ;-)
@aleshaleee Thank you for your constructive criticism, not...... looking at your channel you seem to do a lot of criticising. If you had taken the time to look you will see that my comments about Bobcats were made over 2 years ago when they had only just come out so were hard to find, and these comments were directed at the U.K. market not the NZ one. As for Ozone they make great gliders and o.k. speed wings but if you knew what you were talking about then you already know the XT16 pretty poor!
@headonz Hay thank's for the helpfull, constructive input. But shame yet another perfectly good comments page is spoiled by an utterly crap comment!!!! ;-)
nice flying. what was the wind speed though. the sock looked like it was about 8-10? i motor already but would love to have a wing that can come out on the windier days. you reckon you could fly that in 15-20?
Hey Gordie, just wondering what you think that wing will take for all up weight? I am looking to film the Kite Boarders here in Fort Lauderdale in 15Kts of wind from the beach. I have used my APCO 22 in wind under that but it is still a handfull on the ground. I weigh about 140 k.g. all up with motor and am looking for a high wind wing. Any info you can throw at me would be much apreciated.
I can see you used the motor for launch, but was the motor running during the whole flight? i.e. how much did the ridge lift contribute to keeping you up?
I am a Gin test centre so one of the few places you can buy a Bobcat from. You would need to spend a day or so's training with me before we would consider selling you a Bobcat, to assess if your flying skills were good enough. As for this Bobcat it was 15m2 and I weigh 70 k.g. naked and around 90 k.g. with the motor all up. Call me any time 07830281986
I'm very interested. I'm tired in not being able to pull up my Gin Zulu (L) because the wind is too strong. what size are you flying for what weight? Thanks. Mark
nice vid, nice piloting skills. Great job.
