According to the forums, it seems that they are finally going to submit the PS3 build to Sony this week even though there is no news on the xbox approval. The PC version shouldn't be too far.

@orioncheung Actually it's Microsoft's fault. They're currently holding back the XBLA version (summer sillyness). They won't release the game if PSN and Steam get it first, so Trendy have to publish the game at the same time on all platforms.

I agree it's probably ultimately pointless to bother with the 360 version despite having invested in it. I believe it was that C'thulu saves the world game that they said they'd earned more money in less than a week from Steam than in 2ish months from XBLA. Pretty sad.

@Vayshen Actually Cthulhu saves the world was released in the indie games section,which has a reputation of releasing crappy games,plus you can't play the indie games without being online.The indie games also don't get any advertisement.There are many reasons why indie games don't sell as well as XBLA games, so it's a given that a game released on steam will sell a huge amount,compared to the same game released in the indie games section.So how is it pointless? @wtfiyn Yes I learned about this a few weeks ago. But you still hear quite a few indies bashing the 360, both Indy and normal XBLA. Super Meat Boy is one iirc.

@orioncheung Besides, after re-reading one of your comments, it seems you're not aware that it's not up to Trendy anymore for the release date. Like I said before, it's already been submitted to Microsoft on May 25th. But why did it take about a year? Blame the ex-publishers that were too greedy to keep Trendy's rights to the game. That was a complicated process. There was no reason for Trendy to delay the game other than finally getting those rights. In the mean time, they were bug-fixing.

This game's ETA release date is relative to how long Microsoft will take to approve which was submitted on May 25th. Once the game is out, they'll be submitting the PS3 and PC version ASAP, and then it'll be up to Sony and Steam's approval process.

@orioncheung Read my last comment. Basically only Microsoft would know anything. Trendy has stated in their own forums that they will give a release date if they hear anything from Microsoft, which they haven't so far. In fact, they don't even know how far along MS has come.

This trailer provided just now was sent to Sony for approving only a few weeks ago. Even though it's just footage, at least they know how to approve fast enough.

@hectorsantoyo91 Blame Microsoft. It's already been submitted on May 25th this year. Microsoft plays favoritism as a few games submitted 2 days before May 25th have already been released.

Also blame Trendy's ex-publishers that went bankrupt for the cause of the huge delay. TE is only a victim as they had to grab the rights back from those ex-publishers, which took forever.
