I have played this game for a bunch of hours and I really like it. I think I will upload a complete playthrough when I get some time. I made it up until wave 42. On waves 6, 10,20,30,40 etc probably. On those waves u have unlimited ammo. I didnt realized this until a few playthroughs as well. I find the tractor beam is a great idea for gameplay. I think it would be way too easy if it sucked in powerups too. Basically it seems like its more of a dodging game than a shooting game.
@Lazyhoboguy Damn youtube comment limits made my previous one sound all disjointed in order to make it fit the limit lol. I will say my whole opinion on it when I upload a playthrough of it.
@Lazyhoboguy Yeah the creator of the game commented on it and he makes a good point about the tractor beam. It is a really amazing game and really addictive. :D I'm thinking of asking him to be a guest on my podcast some time in the future.
The developer of this game has a youtube account and he posted a comment on this video. I don't know jack shit about programming anything more complicated than a VCR :D So I'd ask that guy. His username is FusekiGames.
The Fenix runtime (the language I used to write the game) would have to be ported to the Wii. That's currently wayyy beyond my expertise. But if it was ever done, I'd port my game in a hot minute...
You sir are 100% correct! I love that scene...especially when Vegeta agrees that the space armour is indeed Mondo cool. And we all know KRILLENS IN THE HOUSE!
I'm glad you took the criticism well. I noticed in another vide on here that the blasters were unlimited in the survival stages so I will take that into my next session.
I still stand by wanting the OrbMag to work on the blaster ammo. There's been a lot of times in regular stages where I'm out and 2 ammo pods are basically inside and enemy and I don't want to take one or more hits getting to it . In those cases I'd rather just try to clear the wave.
The non-VMU saving is a limitation of Fenix. I'm working on fixing that one (need to adapt my code to a different version of DC Fenix), since it is a game of high scores (like the ones I played as a kid in the early 80s). It's a feature I'd like to enable (the code is in there).
Blasters are unlimited in the survival waves (note to self- add infinity symbol to rev 2), so blast away!

This video inspired me to get a Dreamcast (well I wanted one anyway), but this game sealed the deal for me.

Orbmag critique: think strategy. Think shields!

What a trip. This game reminds me of an Old School arcade game I used to play when I little.
