The one mistake that outweighs any flaw in a Final Fantasy game: This was used ONLY once.

This was such a beautiful piece, and I don't understand why this was used so timidly. Most of my memories of Final Fantasy reside in the 3rd disc, to be honest. This song, especially.

For some reason this theme bought made me feel sad when I first played the game when I was 8 years old. The theme nearly echos squalls hopelessness when rinoa won't even speak to him and adding that to the new threat he faces it must feel like he is wandering in an endless plain of hail and snow.

This always reminds me of when I was travelling from Fisherman's Horizon to Esthar. I was really worried about Rinoa. The salt flats we had to cross were like a maze, we had to face a giant skeleton crazy thing! I realised it was undead and quickly used a Phoenix down, killing it instantly. I felt so smart.

Listening to these tracks brings back amazing memories. I was in 7th grade when FF8 came out, and damn I wish I could go back, I would do anything to go back and play this game like it was my first time.
