I'M NEW TO MAKING EARRINGS TOO BUT A BIG HELP CAME FROM "IKOLOGEE" HERE ON YOU TUBE...SHE HAS GREAT TUTORIALS...HOPE IT HELPS....AND THOSE ARE CUTE TOO, KEEP IT GOING GIRL.!!!!!
one suggestion if I may? try using a thiiner wire for the hoops, know this sounds weird but you can . once you get the shape use a rubber hammer /mallet and hammer it in the shape area only, this will harden the wire and make it firm. this way when you get done and are ready to wrap the wire around at the top it will be easier to wrap around ,and it will lay smoothly as well. otherwise you have done a great job!! I watched Camille's video and learned something new so just wanted to share!
hey lady , to help you with the extra thread on top you can leave some excess thicker wire on top so that when you make the hoop on top you can wrap the rest of the wire around the thread to hide it... not sure if you found a diff way but i hope that can help you!! ~Luv and Light ~
