Oh my god... I worked at the Palliser for a few months in Truro... Every day for 8 fucking hours all I heard was information on the tidal bore. They had some stupid fucking video playing all the time. A 5 minute video that ran over and over and over and over again. Was interesting to watch the first time though.
you need a cone shape bay---i big tidal range---and shallow bay. the wind and ice can also be a factor.

Its the tidal bore, I like 5 mins from it, Supposivley were known because of it and I have never actually seen it lol.
