Damn, this brings back a few memories. Got the original vinyl upstairs. This was the golden age of U.K Hip Hop. I can't get into grime or dizzy and I just want to ask that Tinchy Stryda fellow why he's wearing sunglasses whilst indoors. I'm getting old.
i saw them in keele once, they were supporting chumbawumba..i only went to see gunshot, all the students went to see them cunts chumbawumba...no fucker was dancing to these boys apart from me an my mate, they ended up doin the set sitting down...fucking travesty...
On listening to the Son of noise material Curoc should have stayed in Gunshot, bad move. Top 10 Old school Uk hip hop Bands in no particular order Gunshot Hijack Hardnoise London posse Katch 22 Blade demonboyz Silverbullet Killainstinct Kobolt 60
@illagitimo I'm just getting into my 90's brit rap so i appreciate the list. Really feeling Numskullz at the moment, especially 'the difference', beat after 3mins is fucking insane!
Used to luv uk hip-hop!! My favorite song had the lyrics youll never beat us like youll never beat des walker...does anyone remember this track? Id luv to hear it again thanks!!
I couldn't stand US rap at the time, why would I? Hard Noise, Gunshot, HiJack, II Tone Committee etc. No competition. Now where can I get hold of all these? My old records got lifted many moons ago.
Thanks for uploading, I havent heard much UK Hip Hop from this period. I heard a lyric or two in there sampled on a few hardcore tunes! So Ive probably heard more than I thought, good track.
That's from men in black graffiti movie...

A real ruff 12 inch,1990 in the uk was a time when british hip hop was starting to be prefered to stateside rap, this tune's responsible for that.
