Well there's no need to be rude. I can't go out of my way to transcribe everything I work out by ear for people I've never met. The best I can do is write out the notes to give you a general idea, if I have time.

I tried doing the piece from the notes you gave me, but the problem with it is that I'm not sure which notes are forming a chord, how long the notes are, and most importantly, the way you typed it up is too vague to figure out which is for the left hand and which is for the right.

My suggestion would be to do a tutorial video. And from that I could even write up the sheet music, if done correctly.

Would you, at least, consider it? :]

Meh maybe. If you're good enough to transcribe the music then you could take my notes and work it out by listening to what I'm playing..

A tutorial video would be easier to make because you already know how to play it.

I can listen to this and try by ear but it's a little more difficult to do, as I'm sure for others who are starting at the piano. I like having both the music and the tutorial.

I just do it by playing the piano with my iPod playing the song. Took about 30 mins to work out, just pausing and rewinding till I get it. With a general idea of the notes it shouldn't take you more than 10 mins to learn it. I might have a go at writing it up in Finale but I suck at transcribing.

Gah hate youtube controls, accidentily removed your other message. It's not that hard to work things out by ear, it'd take you about an hour from the music. So long as your piano is in tune it's pretty easy to just play alongside the recording and work out the notes from it.
