@ggalexhutchings that's a rather sad conclusion from a rather sad mind. i won't even defend classical music and the violin. enjoy your shitty mediocre pop songs - most of which incidentally have violins//strings in them.
@transslucide i'm a violist/violinist. it's my fault for not having invented a sarcasm button yet though. i've been meaning to get around to it. fwiw, i like her reading of this. the phrasing is a little stop and go at times. my favorite all time for bach solo violin is probably nathan milstein. he tends to play a little more sostenuto and with a more organic shape to his lines. but she's certainly a fine player.
@ggalexhutchings I would say yes in terms of composition it's been dead for a long time. The violin is definitely stagnant if you take her playing as an example. Most of the people who make it in the classical music business are just people with good looks who play alright. Shrug*

por qué no está la opción de "me gusta la morocha que toca" entre las posibilidades de dejar un comentario?

She's like a female version of Thor, but with a Violin.

The most lyrical and "musical" performance of the Partita I have ever heard.
