  • it's better now

  • sorry u had to go through this

  • @monkeyman1282 I'm living a perfectly normal life. :) No need to be sorry. :)

  • Dude. Normally I never say anything like like this (simply since it sounds BS), but your attitude is really inspiring and uplifting! Keep up the good work!

  • can you see even a little??

  • @99range9982 With my glasses I can see 20/60 to 20/70.

  • did it seem like a good eye dear to post this vid?

  • @ncripzx Yes, because it helps people to understand what I've been through.

  • @rml695 jesus christ mate i am so friggin sorry i didnt have a blinding clue.. thanks for the upload

  • @ncripzx Yep - oh and I forgot to add a smiley in that last comment. I didn't mean to come off as snobbish, so I apologize if I did. :)

  • @rml695 apology accepted.. btw have u ever considered playing american football ? coz wen the quarter back sets up for the pass he needs his blind side protected.. i have recently got into it its tough sport but ye

  • lol it was like poof, sorry for your condition you are in my prayers

  • @XxDominor I'm perfectly alright, just like anyone else. :) Living my life. :)

  • @rml695 do you have a video on your account that currently shows ur vision, i think you should do a comparison from earlier to now

  • You are a brave brother and i have full respect for you i really mean that man.

  • ok I feel like a dick now for my other comment. damn that sucks

  • @6Italia0 I just live my life the way any other person would, one day at a time. :)

  • I want you to change your hair style which suits better than this .

YOU ARE A GEEK guy . I wish I want good friend like you to assist me. see you

  • Your a really brave guy for going through something like that! Your a real inspiration to me! :)

  • kudos to you sir

  • im glad u can see again tho man

  • did the doctor say it would happen again i sure hope not.

  • @master2dope While he said it's a possibility, he also said the odds are EXTREMELY low.

  • @rml695 well i sure hope it never happens again everybody deserves to have vision well im glad to hear you got your vision back i have a load of respect for you if that were to happen towards me i would just start panicking and alot of other stuff.

  • @master2dope

    how you blind?

  • I couldn't imagine. How is your vision now? I hope well. When I was younger, we were playing tag in school. Of course, I'm young and didn't know any better. I ran through the locker room super fast, and I slipped on water. When I got up, my vision was completely distorted, the same blurry sight that you are explaining. My friend literally had to hold my hand as I walked. I heard voices in the hall, but couldn't see any people. So, I experience for one day, I couldn't imagine 2 months.

  • @CALICOTV301 My vision's good now.

  • @CALICOTV301 nor could I.

  • I have the legend of Zelda OOT 4 my 3DS are u gunna review it or no

  • Can u email me at Matthewmatt410@yahoo.com that my new email

  • tripple post king xaxa anyway since u said *i think i will regret that* i came to a (somewhat obvious) conclusion that people made fun of you over internet; just a headsup but you can sue the trollers and other people that cant withstand from harrasing you over internet (probably u know already) once again excuse me for my ... english

  • @TheMalanoid THat's alright and I was aware of that, yes, mainly because you just reminded me. LOL

  • double post lulz (writing on a cellphone is a pain in the ass)

  • or something, and excuse me for my terrible english; 1. it is not my native language

  • aa anyway continuing previous post, if u are born blind than u would have malfunctioning eyes or a damaged nervsystem so people who are born blind see litteraly nothing; imagine closing your eyes in the darkest place at night

  • @TheMalanoid If you meant to address that to jason29n, that didn't work, as it went straight to me. Anywho, what does orsmt stand for? I think I'll regret asking this. lol

  • @jason29n orsmt

  • Sorry to hear about that experience, must have been truly frightening.

Keep up the good work with your videos.

  • @dronespace Since I was trained to live life as a blind person would when I was in elementary school, my reaction was "meh, whatever."

  • Your a champ! much respect

  • Thank the lord that u ended up being ok

  • I am sorry to hear your story. I was wondering what number is your eye glasses. My daughter has vision problem too. She is now wearing -20

  • @queenbeesaira You know i'm not sure what my diopter is at this point. I remember it being the most powerful prescription you can buy in my lens requirement.

  • Wonderful video. Im sorry for your eyes

  • That must have ben the werst day of your life. What hapend to your pacmate?

  • @gallagher123123 The request was never sent thoruhg, simple as that.

  • @rml695 Wow man im really happy i stumbled upon your channel. Funny how one second im watching black ops videos on youtube, the next minute im listening to your story of going blind. I have a question, or two... First, when you went totally blind you said it was like a thick red fog right? Do you know if people that are born completely blind if thats what they see or do they literally see nothingness? Second, do you dream with full vision? Crazy how you almost want to be blind :P

  • @Jason29n I'm not sure what I saw when I was an infant, and I doubt anyone can tell you because we don't really remember that far back (that i know of). As far as dreaming? I'm not sure abou ful vision but definitely in color.

  • You have such a good attitude I really do have respect for you. Take care!

  • Check out yoga for eyes by Meir Schneider. A man who was blind from youth. Decided to try these alternative exercises for eyes and having a good organic diet. He restored his vision. Yes, he "restored his vision" which is unbelievable to me. I decided to try his techniques, and restored my blurred vision after 3 months!! But I did this regularly and didn't slack off. Good healing wishes to those that give it a try.

  • Take Care i Love your videos!

  • I love your attitude. It's really inspiring.

  • I love listwning to your stories. I t makes me thankful that there is someone out there that is willing to shar thier experience on blindness, and in such a media. Thanks...and KEEP-EM COMING! Props to you. :)

  • I know how you feel man. I had a similar experience where I couldn't do any sports in high school or participate in gym because i had to get a tumor removed from my brain when i was about 13. Also I had learning setbacks when part of my brain was taken out. So I guess I am trying to get the same message across to the Ignorant people who take there life for granted and don't appreciate how lucky they are. You really speak to me. Thanks.

  • @simmerdownjack You are quite welcome, Mr. Jack. :)

  • people who are blind from birth are just dealing with it,but those who have their sights and then taken away from them, that's just toooo much to handle.

    respect dude.

  • 2 people are blind mentally :P

  • I hope you live a long and wonderful life :) Respect all the way :)

  • i love hearing these stories.... makes me feel like my problems are pathetic and to just grow the eff up. Love your vids!

  • @shinigamiauthor Glad you like my vids. :)

  • congrats to beating it!

  • i respect u for what u have gone through and dont know how but i think i understand why u were happier in ur blind state. thank u for showing ur experience to all of us viewers so we can realize how lucky we really are sight or no sight. so thank u and i love ur vid :)

  • how did the internal bleeding occur if i may ask

  • @TheBraziliantV Well after having stood in the wind on the first day of school when the buses were super late, the contact was bone dry. Later on that year, I was watching my friends play video games, and POOF!

  • @rml695 Woah... contacts did this to you??? It makes so much more sense... I used to have pearly white eyes, and one day I decided to try those contacts that you could sleep in overnight... I woke up with really sharp pains in both eyes, had to take em out and had stinging eyes for a few days, but they've been all veiny and blood shot ever since... it never once occured to me it could have been worse.

I'm actually really scared now... I still wear those things from time to time.

  • you know that you're hurting your eyes by being in front of your computer all day long, right? you should at least lower the brightness of your monitor, you don't want that eye bleeding again...

  • @omghom Do note the time when I recorded this. I am not on my computer as much now, and my brightness doesn't go higher than 25%.

  • Wow, man. Just wow. You are very cool, despite what others say. I just can't explain it, but you and I are somehow very much alike, in the sense that I have multiple mental disorders. They are slight, but enough to completely mess up my perception of the world. And for some reason, your videos make perfect sense to me, and I thank you for that.

  • ur vids are cool well done :)

  • @hamptonpanthers Thanks. :)

  • Thank you for sharing your story thats amazing. It's good to hear from someone I know and have known legally blind and am friends with a deaf blind person. I really like your videos very informative. Take care man, I wish you the best and your right we as people take everything for granted!

  • wow. i'm so sorry that you had to go through all that

  • why do you use the computer and do all this shit, like T.V and video games, if you have such terrible vision? Seriosly...

  • My vision is such that I can successfully do them in moderation. For instance, my TV is nice & big so I can see it clearly, same with video games. I use a magnifier to work my way around the computer, and sometimes I use a screen reader.

  • dont get me wrong, I feel bad for you, but really think for someone in your stage, you should cut down on that, you could permanently get blinded is you continue...

  • All the more reason I'm waiting for a digital book player to arrive so I can continue reading. I was in the middle of two books when the player decided to take a dump. I cannot play these audio books in any old player, as they are in a proprietary format.

  • @souljasai I've been blind since birth and I use a computer with a screen reading program so it says what's on the screen out loud. I've been using computers to do my school work etc. since i was in school. Why shouldn't we use computers or play games etc. if we can?

  • @WildKatSpeaking

It' your own health, I'm not talking about you, since you were born blind, but the fools that became blind all of a sudden, then somehow get there vision back, decide they want to play games? thats crazy, they dont learn there lesson... wouldn't be suprised , if they become blind for a second time.

  • @souljasai Odds are if you suddenly find yourself rendered blind it is not because you watch to much tv or play to much games.Unless you have some type of condition playing video games will not blind you suddenly that is dumb to think that.

  • @lamiac2411

I'm done talking to you blind fools, you want to keep watching tv and play games go ahead, you'll learn that you'll get blind a 2nd time

  • @souljasai new lcd monitors arent has harsh on the eye as CRT monitors, in my opinion.

  • @mrhenderson

... you people still dont care about your eyes, I don't care, it's your life, it's your health, if you want to be blinded again go ahead, this time it will be permanent

  • @souljasai are you an optician? Shut up mr. factless lol

  • @souljasai What else is he gonna do? Don't be a douche

  • this is amazing ....I always complain about having astigmatism and having to wear contacts but I have nothing to complain about..l wish you the best of luck in getting better

  • Thanks for sharing, If i was blind i would probably freak out. I think being blind would make your other senses more alert, if you know what i mean. Maybe that's why you might want to be blind at a certain time. I have 20/23 i think, and i thought it is bad. Very interesting. Good luck!

  • i feel so bad im so glad you can see now well my cuzin cant see at all with out his glasses and same with my dad

  • how do I talk to you one on one?

  • You did point some of it, but what about the support for new hardware (like a ATi VGA). I try different distribution from time to time, even FreeBSD... and for my 7 years old PC they're just fine, as in better performance... but on my New PC with 2008 Hardware, even with distros launched in 2009 (Debian 5/ ubuntu 9.10/ arch/ suse...) I found many problems which an average user couldn't handle... So there's much to be said about why Windows, instead of Linux - like "you get what you pay for..."

  • congrats dude you are strong !!

have you ever given any speeches to people to tell them your experience, you should do it !!!

hope you are doing better right now !!

    cheers !!!

  • i found this to be really sad

  • I have a question, because I'm curious. If you were to lose your vision suddenly, what would you do?

  • that is a really good question... but i would not know what to do. But I am happy that your sight improved

  • @rml695 I'd shit myself. What i'm probably about to do, since i'm losing my vision exponentially fast

  • Email me privately. Tell me how your vision is going in this email, and I will see if I can come up with a solution. B sure to include any results from a recent eye examination. If you have NOT gone for one please do so, it'll be easier for me to help if I have the doctor's results, and I'll have a clearer picture of what's going on. My assumption is going to be either glaucoma or macular degeneration, but again, I need your input before I can proceed to help you. Email me privately.

  • It's an incurable, progressive eye accommodation problems connected with short-sightedness; Switching the focus on to the point of different distance takes up to minutes (comparing to <1 sec. for a normal eye), and I see nothing further than 200 feet away with new glasses. It's a really "weird" disorder, I don't know how rare it is though. Cool thing about it though - I can literally "see" how my eyes are changing focus. It's like in the movies, just for short distances only.

  • That was really interesting

  • when u lose a feature (your sight) you start to have ultra-sensitivity on others. It is good your sight came back, but look at the bright side, u are more evolved than others, plus that you know how to aprpeciate what others dont.

  • great story.

    How old are you?

  • Profile.

  • Thanks for sharing

    5/5

    Make more videos

  • that really touched me

  • Respect!

  • Thank you for sharing your life, i've just started to watch some of your computer video, and then this one, and it's a good thing you have done by making this video, courageous also, and very nice to open minds about that, i'm thanksfull and keep doing your nice works of publishing your video critics, i like that also because your are using a clear english, and then it's more easy to understand for me as a french person.

Your works and videos are usefull, and true that's perfect. thanks you !

  • holyy crapp... borther, if i was you i would of absolutely shite myself :\ going blind is the one thing that scares me to death, respect to you man...

  • @Hornsealad It scares me to death too.

  • what a story to tell. and you're so respectful to everyone, even the bashers. its YOU who deserves the respect here.

my heart goes out to ya, brotha.

  • You should get contact or a laser done so you won't have to where glasses.

  • @kingwoody911 do u rly think its that easy?

  • I was reading a thing on the Internet that this guy was blind for ten years and some doctor asked him he he could but a robotic eye in him and the guy said yes and know he can see only in black and white. The thing I am trying to say is if you are blind there is a way to fix that now.

  • wait are you still blind, because if you are how in the hell do you manage to see and post comments on youtube

  • I can see, but even if I couldn't, VoiceOver allows full iMovie access and uploading facilities.

  • whoa danm i got respect.

you are a awesome guy - i loving wachting your video keep them coming

    aa7730g

  • Nice vid bro. Respect. What is it that went wrong again?

  • An internal bleed.

  • Umm im kinda wandering how come you never got a dog

  • Man, i subscribed, your videos are amazing. RESPECT

  • When i was at school I had mega problems with the other kids that made me feel sick ever morning because I knoew what my day would be like, as I had niastagmus and my eyes moved without control I would be called "Radar" "Woggle eyes" they would hold a hand up and say how many fingers can you see, god what nightmare days.

  • I did have several incidents throughout my life where I could have lost my sight completely.

Not wearing safety glasses is just stupid, which I have done on several occasions.

While you may be legally blind, loss of your eyesight entirely when you've had nearly perfect eyesight for 36 years would be very difficult to adjust to.

Blind, legally blind or whatever, you're human and experience the same emotions as we do, and react the same way we do.

Your glasses are quality optical instruments.

  • Great vlog, man. Cheers.

  • hi i subscribed to you :) your a great helper. :)

  • Thanks. :)

  • no problem anyway bye i got school tomarrow (btw i live in the UK) well bye :)

  • YOU HAVE MY RESPECT MATE,, i won't say "my compassion" because to some it may be understood as an offensive expression dealing with people like yourself as minors... this accident you had could happen to anyone, and it certainly does not stamp you... best of luck through your life mate...

  • Very nice video mate, I have respect for you, and the things which have happened. Best of luck for the future mate :) Danny

  • wow

  • my auntie has the same glasses and she got blind from diabetes

  • Sorry you had to experience that, but I'm happy that you can see now.

Oh, and, even if you'd be blind, deaf or whatever, you'd still be the same nice person you are. :)

  • :( dat sux man

  • Good Channel I Subscribed I Hope This Channel Gets Bigger! Good Luck!

  • is it ture that you hearing and smell go to super hero limits

  • I don't know about 'super hero' limits, but that's just because I've been this way all my life. I will say it does improve those senses you mentioned, though.

  • Im sorry you had to experience that, and i wish you well. thanks for sharing

  • You seem like a truly nice person :) In my eyes i see a normal person...

  • aw dude ... youve been through some bad stuff .. sorry to hear that... ur a true gamer haha :)

  • sorry to hear that

  • I know ur Ubuntu user! I really wanna learn to use Ubuntu, i had it installed an EVERYTHING, and the stupid wifi didnt work?!? I was mad!

  • It's possible your WiFi may be on the black list. Also, with WiFi, in Ubuntu it's not automatic. Instead you have to select your network manually every time.

  • That would be so awful. I am sorry for you man.

  • Thankyee, but you don't have to be. :) I live my day-to-day life just like anyone else without major issues, I don't let my physical limitations slow me down. :)

  • oh my god that's horrible, you poor thing.

  • thanks for skipping nj wahh

  • if i came blind im not joking here i would kill my self im not saying you would but thats what i would feal if i had

  • wow your an idiot...

  • Hello :)

Can I ask how strong your glasses are? Thanks :)

  • I could not give you the diopter numbers, but I can say that they are the strongest prescription of my kind.

  • I love in New York and I know what you're talking about with the snow and not being able to see. One time I was driving to college and it was so white out that I had to use telephone polls as a reference to where I was on the road. The downside was the telephone polls when from one side of the road to the other, so I crashed into a ditch.

  • Awesome video.

I think you are a very interesting and unique person :)

  • This uideo answers some of my questions, but I would still like to know how you could see pre-school,etc.Many thanks!

  • I could see in pre school but that's all I remember. LOL

  • You seem like a really decent guy.

And your videos on computers are really informative. I'm in Canada and am currently trying to get a MSI U100 without the bilingual keyboard! I don't need French on half my keys, and a moved enter key to make room for the additional accent keys.

Keep up the great videos. Best videos I've seen on here in a long time.

  • I am so, so, so very sorry to here this. I can't even imagine what it felt like. My prayers are always with you bro. Loveee all your reviews by the way.

  • How is your vision now?

  • It's better but there are days when I wish I was still blind. Don't ask why because I cannot explain it.

  • But honestly, do you ever think your items will be stolen.

  • All the more reason why I keep a very close eye on them.

  • eye???

  • I keep a close watch on them.

  • I bloody love you man!

  • this may be a stupid question, but is there contacts that are strong enough to work as your glasses? and is there any surgery that could fix your eyes?

  • We tried contacts and they were actually what lead up to the experience I discuss in my video. Surgery is too risky because of my condition.

  • Did the contacts cause your retinal blood pressure to go up dangerously? My brother almost lost his eyesight because of this, but thankfully he stopped wearing them before it became a problem.

  • I don't remember if the pressure was going up or not.

  • ah, the problem was that his corneas were deprived of oxygen, causing blood vessels to grow into the corneas. the issue was that he wore them all the damn time and even slept with them.

  • wow, i couldnt talk about my personal life on youtube, good heart man.

  • Well said!

    I agree.

  • Ohio yea!

  • lol i never knew u had a ipod touch

  • u have great courage to talk about something so personal, god bless u

  • If I were suddenly to lose my vision, I'd panic, but I suppose if I had always had poor vision going blind might be a relief from needing to continually battle with the optical world.

  • thanks for sharing

  • very interesting, weren't you bored though? you couldn't play games or watch tv during that time.
