You must've not been paying attention to the All Star team for the last 20-30yrs. They aren't always blue-chippers. Sometimes an all star is picked because he's a worker. 12 boards a game isn't glamorous but it's not to be overlooked either; especially for a 3rd yr player. No, he's not lighting the world on fire w/11.5 ppg but he's barely taking 12 shots a game since Gordon signed went to Motown.

If Buck Williams was an All Star 3x, Joakim Noah can be an All Star.
