this was very helpful. i use a brush from a brand called QVS, in australia it cost $15.90, and has a small concealer brush on the other end, so u have to keep it laying flat. thanks for all the tips : )

Thanks for the great tips! I just ordered my Elf brush today. I appreciate the brush cleaning tips. I've been cleaning mine and standing them upright but will start lying them flat.

yeah, the thing that bothers me with liquid foundation and brushes is that the bristles get seperated, and leave little lines in my foundation on my face...so annoying...

Yikes - I still use my fingers to apply my foundation! I will buy an ELF brush and try it. I'd hate to imagine how much product sponges have soaked up in my years using them!
