i am disappoited, i dont believe he´s an reason user. He just does it for the money. A E-MU SP 1200 still goes for 1000 Euros, because it has this groove only hardware drummachines got.

@TR0jAX its not about the machine its about the user.....doesnt matter if its an sp 1200, mpc 60, s950, logic, fruity loops or whatever. its about the art man. and ad rock has been using the sp since the late 80s early 90s im sure he'd like to use a different bit of kit after all that time :)

Actual Chopping steps on the SP......1.sample loop, copy it to all pads. 2. save. 3. delete all pads except for one. 4. chop first sound, usually a kick. 5.permenately truncate. 6. load loop to next pad. 7. chop next sound. 8. permenately truncate.....keep loading and chopping until you have all your drums or sounds chopped. So ya, ReCycle is a lil faster
