@colderbeer WDW used to have an attraction called ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter that was meant for teens/adults. However, stupid parents took 5 year old children on, and complained when they got scared. Because of that, it's gone now.

If Disney tried making another adult-oriented scare, more stupid parents would force their kids to participate in it, and get it shut down again.

There needs to be a haunted house that is psychologically scary.

No monsters, no gore or blood, and it has to scare the fuck out of you the whole time you are in there, like someone is watching you.

They need to have a girl dressed up as the grudge or something walking around the house really slow like in the movie making that gurgling noise.

It has to push people right over there limits so they have to go to therapy or something.

I dont know about you, but personally, having something come out of nowhere that looks freakish and dangerous that appears to be about to physically harm me in ways I can't or don't know how to protect myself from would be more scary than some girl painted white walking around.

You might get frightened everytime you see a little girl, but most people get frightened by unexpected danger, especially when it's from something they don't understand or can't prevent.

but what I am trying to say is, IMO I find the psychological aspect of terror to be much more disturbing, not necessarily just the grudge, it could be anything, like things that make people uncomfortable, but are "virtually" real for the time being in the "haunted house."

it's more of a constant scare than just pop ups here and there.

Where I live, the "Haunted School House and Laboratory" They have a car, or bus that you can't see until the brights come at you from the side and the horn sounds. I screamed like a little girl who just fell off her bike. It was amazing. Try going through those places quoting Bevis and Butthead...See how many you can get to break character. It's amazing.

Rumor has it that in an apartment complex in my old neighborhood, 3 teens were muredered and left among the props. People who entered the house would ignore them thinking they were part of the attraction. :\ Who killed them you ask? The police never found out, but after the incident, the complex was shut down and evacuated of it's occupants. Years later it was remodeled and put up for sale, but no one ever bought the building so it was demolished and the property was put up for sale.
