He's probably the most intense NBA player I have ever seen. I remember when he played for the Pistons and I was a Bulls fan. He would rip the Bulls' heart out by getting offensive rebounds at crucial times and giving his team another posession. I HATED him until he joined the Bulls, of course. :-)

He still did work in the post, but he didn't care at all about perimeter defense. Of course, the Bulls had Pippen and Jordan for that, so it didn't matter.

Most of his points were from put backs, lay ups and dunks. He was awesome on D, he was just never much on offense.

i LOVE how rodman celebrated or showed frustration after every single play he was a part of. god he was sick. you know he had more heart than any nba player out there. throwing himself onto wood floors, hustling harder than anyone on the floor, getting tough for the team, throwing the opposition around for boards and second chances, and NEVER giving up on a play. this man truly made defense sexy.
