  • This video is a favorite on Fiji

  • @leighstephens74 Fantastic! Thank you. I'm so glad it's helpful.

  • We're got a video about sighting in the surf zone you might like at oceanfit.com.au

  • Why didn't I watch this before my triathlon. Better late then never i guess.

  • Excellent instructional video. thanks

  • Great video! Thanks for posting. Just had my first open water and there's alot to learn.

  • Very helpful for this novice open water swimmer.

  • Exactly what I was looking for

  • thx for this vid

  • Being tall such as 6ft is an advantage in swimming ?

  • @TheLeilisa lol!

  • @TheLeilisa depends I suppose. It means more drag area, but also you may have more muscle with larger build to make up for that. I'm 6'2 and swim a 1500 in about 28 minutes in open water. That's not terribly fast. Hoping to shave a minute or two this year.

  • @slunkmonky sounds like you are a good swimmer. It has been more than 3 months since i dropped the comment and i was using a product then named helpo growth frm w...growtallerstore.commm i ve reached my desired height and gained 3 inches. I see that height is advantage in swimming.

  • Hi Leslie, greta video... very helpful for me as a beginner triathlete...

out of interest, what kind of watch are you wearing?

  • could have won my division at chris green lake if i couldve swam in a straight line...couldnt breathe to my left either...thnaks for the vid!

  • Thanks, Vic - yes, the sighting motion should happen QUICKLY. It's just a quick look up. Then the head comes right back down, or to the side for a breath.

  • Great, love it!

  • great video thanks a lot..
