@cornevans the 2 most popular softwares to use to my knowledge (with reasonable prices): fruityloops + reason you can download these for free here (or so im told...): warez-bb(dot)o r g but BEWARE some of these downloads will contain virus's, always read peoples feedback, I would personally just buy the software if you can, both of these programs should have addons in order to manipulate bass to create dubstep (FL does definatly, not sure about reason) also...

Fruity loops studio 8 mate :), there is a newer version of fruityloops studio, and I also heard reason is good aswell, audacity is good for editing individual samples too and is free :)

woahhhh. that was sick man, thx for sharing this choon!! 5/5 stars, only thing id recommend is eqing the bass to come through a bit more, to give it more of a presence.. think it would give it an even darker feel. maybe you could layer a gated sine wave to the bass synth at a low octave or something.. dunno just ideas lol
