At first I thought you were wrong but after listening carefully I think you're right. If you check out this kid's video on teaching Iron man it's pretty clear that he doesn't show/have the skill it would take to sound like what we're hearing on this video. He most likely turned down his rig, below the actual song volume so it appears like he's playing it as good as Tony from Sabbath.
