Congratulations to the team, it's an awesome car, saw it in the flesh and it has serious presence....I swear to God I will own one! Once again this is an astonishing feat! I think everyone would have like to have the Hydractive as an option, but financially I think it would have put the car out of reach from a lot more people...
@theofficialcitroen really .. i'm shocked! isn't citroen the suspension emperor? I've already listened to so many reviews saying suspension is too rough :(
@bloub0 the german and japanese automotive industry had the power to make people accept uncomfortable cars with rough suspension. Sportiness of the suspension became a priority, not the safety or comfort. Despite the fact that these cars are used in cities where the speed limit is 50kph. have carried people in my ol DS that were admiring the comfort but were concerned about the cornering and safety of the suspension, because advertising made them believe that hard suspension is the best.
@theofficialcitroen Will the next bigger DS have hydractive suspension? Big Citroen without hydropneumatic suspension is not a real big Citroen. I forgive you for the DS5 because it looks absolutley awsome! Alot of us will be happy if DS6 will have hydropneumatic suspension.
I thought the entire point of this car was bringing back the Citroën spirit. The different feeling that a Citroën gives compared to any other car. The hydractive suspension is a fundamental part of that.
The DS5 is very beatiful. But true Citroën-spirit? No way, not with the lack of proper suspension.
@theofficialcitroen Why not have the hydractive suspension like activa? It is pity that Citroen throw the activa suspension away, it was and it is the best suspension ever made!
@theofficialcitroen i didnt knew the hydropneumatic suspension is not dynamic or sporty... I haven old DS that was very good in rally sport at its time. We all know its better than the metal springs but people are still afraid of it. I think it just simply sells better without it, whatever the official statement is.
Not sure if this is an estate/ wagon or an MPV

@bloub0 I ment the hydractive hydropneumatic suspension, not the hybrid4 hybrid technology.

@Talwar3k We chose not to equip Citroën DS5 with the hydractive suspension for dynamism and sportiness reasons.
