Dynasty did go down hill here after, and the season finale cliff hanger was dreadful. After the dismal Moldavia wedding and shoot out they did it all again.

Alexis decided she wants to paint a portrait of Blake. It seems she's tried that before, then Krystle smashed it up when they had their studio cat fight.
This episode was not #22 in the weekly ratings but #20. It was the first time that the show was in the Top 20 since the first two episodes of this seventh season.
second half of season 7 is very boring! this storyline, krystinas kidnapping, this strange friendship between dominique and dex and finally dominque new love and strange dissapearence from the show
I agree though I love the two A Love Remembered episodes they showed Alexis as multi dimensional again and it was nice to see those scenes between her and Blake.
Wait a second: Steven (Sammy Jo's ex-husband and father of her child) ends up becoming Buck Falmont's (who's brother Clay is Sammy Jo's lover in this episode) life partner? Talk about keeping it in the family... LOL

Finally - Alexis mentions her painting again!!! I always regretted they didn't keep up this aspect of her character.

@smck2009 Indeed!! Joan Collins is a great actrees. She plays there that double role permanently, and that's not an easy thing to do.
