I don't need or want my credit card information stored, and that's not what I mean when I refer to needing the "autofill" or "autocomplete option. It's ridiculous that none of you brainiac developers get it. Really. We want the browser to remember, for example, our login information when we access different secure webpages, such as IPboards, or Facebook, or ebay or any site which requires a User ID, and password. It's not "proprietary" as others have suggested, because IE and FF etc all do it.
Autofill my ass, I decided to use it to keep my credit numbers in order, so i wouldnt have to dig out and type those long ass digits, and it doesnt even keep the numbers.
@TOUCANBURT I'm not sure exactly what you and Leo mean, but if you want the most recent tabs that you've closed, just open up a blank tab in Chrome (with the 8 most used sites stored on it) and at the bottom is a list (of only 6, it appears) of the most recently closed tabs/sites. Also, for sites that you've gone to, usually typing only the first two or three letters will bring up the name of the site, so generally, it's not hard to get to the pages you want to.
@LeoLovesNature You can at least find the last 6 most recently closed tabs/sites if you open up a new tab in Chrome. You'll find the list at the bottom, below your most frequently viewed sites. I'm not sure how long your browser's list is, though.
We still need a master password to protect all of this info (if wanted). Also, It would be nice if this could also record log-ins for different websites.
@InvisiMan2006 at 1:16, you can see that credit card number is masked. But i am not sure that 0:43 part is the best way to do it because then you can let's say use your mothers credit card instead of yours
Hmm, obviously thats been around for awhile, but thats very unique and more convient the way it is set up, ah, I've been a google chrome user strong for more than a year now.
I wonder when USA companies will realize that not all countries in the world are federal. Just remove that "State" crap already and make a move to a better way of doing it.

"You can store your credit card details, but for your safety chrome will ask you first."
So... it's not safe to store them? Then why is there even the option to store them?

I think we call this "AutoComplete" in IE8 and "Search and Form History" in Firefox. This is not new stuff. At all.
