@sasukechidoree if you look carefully he has it on passive wich is the best, in order to control it and make sure it won't break fear, also deamons deal too low dmg even though they hit fast with 1-3k dmg it's a good deal but they are mostly for the abilities, so an usual aprentice will go demonology with doomguard and get killed like an idiot. felhunter is the best (interupt/silence, remove buffs from enemies or dispel harmful effects on you + damage and heal himself wich means more soul link)

@greatman63 Dunno if you notice Imp is very similar to the felhunter because it can remove harmful effects on you and in addition if you that extra stamina boosts and you can also keep it in defensive since you want it to attack if ur a destro spec lock with the soul fire proc very useful pet
