The web site does not list the MPG (so to speak) rating of that small tank so that turned me off buying the quick fire. Also there is no mention of other gas options such as MAAP gas or a hose kit like they used to have with their oxy/propane brazing kits. For 100+$ and no info or other fuel options it's off my list where Canadiantire has a more focused flame with igniter for 20$ and use a camping stove propane bottle and it's about the same size as the QF.

i just bought this and am VERY happy with it. lights quick, adjustable, and seems to get things hot faster. Don't know how long tank life is though.
