Really like the power that your loco's have they sound fantastic. If you get chance have a look at the UK Deltics a sound like no other. the engine is worth looking up Napier Deltic tri-angular formation. Am very impressed with video clips must get over to see these in the "flesh". Keep up the good work.
@generationll I don't know. There are too many coal trains that pass through here to know what mine they came from. The train was a domestic train that came from the power plant @ Centrailia, WA.
I went through Minot a few weeks ago on Amtrak and you could see how bad the flooding is. You could look at the houses and see that the water almost came up to the roof. Very Shocking.
Watching KXMD live coverage of the Minot flood yesterday morning (Friday 6-24) showed line is still passable in Minot, but water is very, very close to closing the tracks. Shallow water is over tracks just to west of the Amtrak depot in Minot. Video feed at 5:30AM showed one manifest going through, east bound, moving very slowly through town. I suspect with the 4 to 7 foot rise coming in this weekend, tracks will be closed. Minot is a horrible mess, all levees have failed.
