I agree with the bloke below about the whole 180 degree thing, but I loved this nonetheless. Excellent work! ((And yeah, I realise this vid's ancient, haha.))
Very cool, though crossing the 180 degree line makes it a bit confusing about where the characters are standing in relation to one another. But love the black and white with red blood.
that was great man, love the "sin city effect". im interested in something with film too. in your opinion is there very limited work in that area? and not to criticize, but the blood at the end coming from the back of you head seemed brighter than the rest. just saying. but i loved it
yeah' the 'red blood' kinda went odd during conversion for net.. and im to lazy to go back and alter. film jobs i have found not to hard to come by. but that being said i know people who have alota trouble finding work. basicaly.. if you arnt willing to give it all your time and effort, dont do it. its a hard fuckin industry to get into if you aint willing to give it your all.. just get the equipment, and go out there and make stuff.. make stuff and meet people!
Yeah, expensive:P mine cost about $13,000 and on top of that my camera and mic. and all that jazz was a bit north of $10,000. that being said it has opened so many doors for me, met directors and interviewed international touring metal bands and all that.
ur definetly a very talented guy, thanx. cheers from australia. hey, umm just another question, i'm really interested in a film career but am finding a greater enjoyment in music. so the two are kinda conflicting. how much would u reckon the average film course would cost? thanx.
Hey sorry its taken like a month to reply, been away from youtube for a while (it kinda ate my soul for a while) film course, pretty expensive? if you read this.. are you still looking? cause i know of a few that i can suggest if you still need info?
yeah man I know, its actually filmed in high def. video and looks so much damn better on the high def tvs and not compressed to hell.. ill prob slow it down and repost one day but.. i am, really really lazy, thanks for the comment though
Thanks for the kind words friend. And the career bit :P thats the plan anyway! I spend to much time editing and doing freelance camera crap that im diein to get back to making some cool and gory zombie stuff. Keep in touch.
All you have to do it line up two layers of same clip and throw a cromakey effect on the top layer and select the colour you want to keep. then just invert the key so all that is remaining is the colour you want kept (in my case red).. if done right you can isolate the clip and all you will see is any red elements to the clip. then just make the bottom clip black and white. It may take a bit of messing around but should iron out.
Hey I just saw this video and I'm really trying to find a tutorial on how to make blood spray affects (such as using a katana to cut a wound, and let the blood spray out). I was wondering if you have any useful tips? I'm using Adobe Premiere. Thanks.
All thee efects I use are practical effects, I dont like digital. Just using air pressure and a squib or a blood filled tubing. I make my own blood mixture out of a bunch of different food products (it taists amazing)
