ok people, i tried and finally tuned my Ibanez RG370DX to half step, but it took me 30 minutes, because everytime i tune a string, the other strings tune back up Ex. i will tune my high E down to half step, then all of the sudden the Low E and A strings will tune back to normal, am i doing this right? and no video on youtube will be able to help me, im pissed so i can gladly say i hate Floyd fucking Rose

@SexyTriggerMan That is fairly normal for the 5th and 6th string to need a little adjusting in my experience, which I admit is limited. I don't know about them going back to a normal tuning. There is nothing wrong with Floyd and the fine tuning is nice. I have an Ibanez RG560 and I have not even had to mess with the tuning in weeks. I typically run through the tuning twice. Just a suggestion but it might be worth it to take it to a local guitar shop and have a complete setup.

I think everyone has their own name for it. I call it the wavy place. I told my friend(who I'm helping learn the guitar), "you hear how the notes waver in that wavy place? Tune it until they flatten out into a single tone. It should sound like there is only one tone sounding."

y? It's pretty simple your just tuning from standard to flat. That means all the opened string are flattened a "halfstep"

Are you trying to work out how to do from standard tuning without any aids? Sorry if you know this already, but I'll explain really simply - open E on 6th string resonantes with E at 7th fret on 5th string, right? So fret D# at 6th fret on 5th string and tune 6th to that and then retune all strings from there Ta-da. E flat tuning. (assumes guitar in tune to E to start with.)

No, 440Hz is what people tune to get to concert pitch, you still tune to this frequency to get Eb. Is your tuner chromatic?

If you meant what frequency would Eb Standard Tuning be at... I have no idea. Less than 440Hz... haha.
