idk why everyone so retarded about this...who cares if its not a remix. shit, I hate the short version and the extended version is too long (at 8 minutes) and that one repeats too damn much. THIS one is PERFECT. In fact this is what the Extended Version SHOULD have been. But its relatively easy to find because its called Extended Remix. So I'm not gonna bitch about the name. I like this version and I am hellz glad someone posted this version of the song.

Well, I've looked for other ones like this and to be honest there are none. It was well organized and I enjoyed being able to hear the beauty of this song for longer. A wonderful extension and remix. I think some people's idea of a remix involves much more obvious edits that can totally scramble up the flow of the song - particularly if they are done badly. I'm not a musician or an audio engineer. I'm not trying to ruin the original compositions by reworking them into something unrecognizable. I keep my edits simple and within limits that I hope sound natural to the ear. I'm not trying to reinvent these songs. I just want more cowbell.

@Blackeeey If you can't tell, then that means my edits work well. There are 2 versions of this song, 1 instrumental, 1 vocal. I've edited those together first, then after the vocal chorus, I replay the instrumental melody and the vocal chorus again. After that, the song does begin a replay of the full vocal track starting with the slow strings. In this section, I mixed in some percussion hits that occur later in the track. Added one more instrumental pass to give a slow fade out.

Thanks. Since I made this one I've been finding a lot of other extended remixes on YT. But it seems that most of them are either just looping the same 2 minutes over and over, or the mix is badly chopped together. You can only stretch a 2 minute song just so far. I even think mine is pushing that limit a bit. Trying to force an edit generally sounds unnatural and jarring. But I've also made some remixes of other TSFH songs that worked out pretty well. Check them out.

@RandomPhail I have not seen any extended remixes that are an official version. Some do use both the Choir, and instrumental version back to back like mine. Those are about 4 minutes long. All the rest that I saw on YT are either the same track looped several times, has edits are hacked badly, or the remix was so ambitious, it totally changed the flow of the song. I try to keep the edits clean and simple. I don't have the tools or the skill to do more than that.
