@timaaahh a marxist is someone who believes in the implementation of socialism into a capitalist government with the final goal of COMMUNISM. Wich requires the leader to give up power to the people WICH HE DID NOT DO therefore he stopped at being a socialist because hes a tyrannical selfish greedy dictator.
There is no difference between communism and marxism dumb ass
@xGH3x You sir GET IT! :) Exactly the case. What more proof do you need than the fact that cubans CANNOT VOTE HIM OUT because his position is ONLY elected by the top wigs at the PCC ( Partido Comunista Cubano )
@xGH3x Read what he said. "He says he's not a communist but a Marx-Leninist. That's a difference." There is a difference between a Marxist-Leninist and other Marxists and Communists.
@timaaahh He also said that there was no Marxim in his ideas too, Basically he didn't even know what he was at that time of his life: /watch?v=Yw4DzUBbG3c
@nietzscheprime More like the Cuban rebels did not have an ideology at first, they simply wanted to overthrow the criminal government that was in control of Cuba at the time. Problem was our government [America] have not problem with dictatorships as long as they're in our back pockets. Once we found out that the new Cuban government would not be one of our puppets, the Castro government had no choice but to seek aid from Moscow and bring the Communist Party of Cuba in the new government.
@stripe66506 Correct... but that doesn't make it right either. Our country was sold to the Soviets as a protective measure. So there you have it... f*** the cuban government and f*** the US government. The list of US backed dictators is loooooooooooonnnnngggg. Hell, even Batista was one of their puppets.
@francovaldes Didn't say that it was/is right or wrong, but this was the realities faced by the post-Batista Cuban government and it makes sense that the Castro government made the choices that it did. It would have been more interesting to see what Castro's Cuba would have looked like without pressure from US imperialism and corporate interests.
