This is what hip hop needs, every rapper bigs up green and drinks which are fine, but we as a people ( black, brown) don't talk about health and wellness enough. Big ups to Stic. Man for this one!
This song goes hard and is a breath of fresh air. He tell's it like it is.. people dont want the truth, but he's putting it out there! And even if it just affects 1 person thats one less person who's decided to make a change in his/her life. =powerful! I AM A CHAMPION!
big up for stic, amazing album and made me workout harder in gym, very inspiering.this is not i belive only for the black community, but for all those who wanna take life seriously and live healthy.vegan for life,RBG to the grave
@stokley I hear you but the album iz called the workout album therefor it should be in your face, the youth today sre lazy out of shape and don't even care about their appearance it can work if Atheletes use it or teams use the songs for their intros even if it's on the HS level. It's a good look in my opinion he pushing the envelope. I mean at least it's not corny like that hip-hop aerobic DVD with the Brother who was insinc or one of them choreographer. He could do a workout DVD next
@John I believe it iz, the beautiful thing iz that it's great lyrics great beats and it's not corny! I gotta let my Homie about this Album he Coaches Highschool Girls Varsity Basketball. He always uses Hip-Hop mixes for their intros
If it changes one person's one life it is worthwhile. I'm 3 years into the iron and hearing Dead Prez echoing my belief is confirmation that others feel the same way I do. Personally I feel living this lifestyle is one of the most revolutionary acts you can take part in. Cut out the processed poison, smash your TV and awaken your body to its natural state.

Smashed some new weights after putting this on my playlist today. Shit is mad inspiring. Best speech ever + Hip hop? I feel like a monster in the gym!
i stick and move through the madness, bob and weave the negative. blockin out the haters my meditation is medicine. I beat down barriers and stomp out worries. Gotta keep my guard up cuz that drama comes in flurries. It'll throw you off center, take your balance off center line. But i know my enemy, the biggest battle is within the mind......He's just talking about the everyday struggles in life. and how to just man up and deal with it. Its brilliant and relatable.

as positive and beneficial as this concept-health album is for the black community especially, I don't think it will influence anyone...because working out is not fun for most people and it's a huge lifestyle change, not just in your fitness level but your diet. most people arent willing to make the changes.
@stokelycalm I disagree there are people like myself that are heavily influenced by music especially music from deadprez the same group that inspired me to read books educate myself on subjects that heavily influence my family and my community, There may not be a huge number of people that will take this music and use it as it is intended but that dont mean stic.man shouldnt hav put it out..so much hiphop with pointless brainless subject matter we need creative new ways of utilising the artform

@DannyiLL oh no im not saying he shouldnt have released it. anytime you have a dead prez album out, it's great. but i'm just saying that, people will listen to it but not necessarily hitting the gym or exercising. i respect his effort but there's just so much politics in our fastfood-induced, fitness-decieving culture.
@stokelycalm i agree wit you bruh...ever since "50 in the Clip" i wake up and throw 50 in the clip. there is something powerful about music and its motivation. this track right here is hype music. i hate working out but i do 4xs a week. just wake up at 6am shut down my mind and everything that says sleep and just get it done. I think Ali had a quote like that where he said: i hate training i hate working out but i just do it.
@stokelycalm to each is own your opinion is respected but i heard back on my regiment on april 10th and have'nt picked up a blunt or a drink since then and that was the first time in twelve years, now i know 1 month is nothing compared to 12 years but one day at a time thank you stic man peace and blessing your way all day.
@ThePanaramic thats good to hear from you but i dont think it works for everybody. i like stic.man and dead prez, they are dope, but this whole album was a flop for me 'cause it was trying too hard to be a workout album and it was just so in-your-face obvious about that, the best workout songs to me dont even talk about working out. i listen to this album but definitely dont work out to it, i prefer workin out to dead prez 'hip hop' or 'hell yeah'! lol
@stokelycalm wrong cause it's already influenced me to get back in the gym. u right it's not fun and it's not suppose to be that's probably why it's not called funout. the only way to raise your fitness level is to workout like the only way to raise your awareness or knowledge is to read.
@stokelycalm I appreciate that you didn't need Stic to get your god to take the wheel away from your demons and steer. In all reality though, this was not just a message for the black community. Stic speaks to all mankind and is not solely a prophet to people of his own complection. There are overweight McD's fed white, black, asian, latino and native children that have all suffered the assault of profiteering, and they all need this type of energy to engage their god within.
@vigiliniproductions if u can give your all, then okay man ;) i think goin to gym and participationg in courses, motivates me to do extra harder ;) but keep up the good work, stay on your training
@stokelycalm I disagree to, I know the gym can be boring but belivie me when u get into it u gonna feel much better, stronger and happier. I personally like sports like football, thaiboxing and basketball more but time, distance and money makes it easier to go to the gym. U dont have to change your whole lifestyle unless your not eating sugar and junk everyday. I havent changed my food a bit, I still eat chicken, meat , fish and stuff like that
@stokelycalm my sincerest apologies if this may offend u but only a pessimist thinker who only focuses on losing (rather than winning) would speak the words you've just spoken. If all renown leaders thought the way you thought then there would be no leaders in this world ...but rather 'people' who would find every excuses under the sun not to do something. ...but that's just my opinion & that is not to say that ur point doesn't hold any truth but it doesn't necessarily mean that it does either.
@stokelycalm I disagree as well i personally know a few people thats highly motivated by this workout cd including myself. in fact everytime i hear it i want to workout!!!
@stokelycalm I have to disagree as well! There are a lot of AMERICANS getting off of there asses and getting in the gym, the playground, etc. The Black COMMUNITY is reawakening as well we are beginning to make the onnections to heath and how it influences everything our lives! I am influenced by this music on a daily basis! You can't expect everyone to jump up at once nd change GENERATIONS worth of habitual activity! Now WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO WORK ON THE PREJUDICENESS AND RASCISM!!!!
LOVE IT!! They be wonderin why this sista looks so focused workin out. I'm listening to this and Back on my Regimen. Real Black Girls stay fit! Thanx Stic.

@stokelycalm FALSE. Working out releases endorphines, which in turn make you happy. The biggest obstacle is getting in the gym.
