I'm not sure you'll find any reputable scientists, engineers, whatever in that pool of selectees. Their job is manipulating outcome to the best of their ability to their benefit through pure coercion whether true or untrue. I pity the judge as he/she's typically at the forefront of any negative backlash that occurs, and in their case it's usually damned if you do damned if you don't.
