I do believe this is dubstep. This is closer to original ROOTS dubstep... but it is still dubstep. There is definitely a sub bass carrier wave driving the low-end and a syncopated polyrhythm layered over top. It is coming in at, probably, about the 140bpm mark. Nu-Metal / Brostep / Screamstep is the newest emerging sub-genre in the dubstep family. Just because this isn't 'that' doesn't mean it is NOT dubstep.
