  • Alright you jackass with the glasses, he was showing how life isisn't worth living if you don't take some risks, and he just went on one of the easiest climbs for an expirenced climber, and a boulder should not have fell if it was there for so long, but there simply was a mistep in nature where the rock was pulled from its weakest point and he was stuck, not telling where he was going was stupid but that means he deserved what he got? If you were stuck, you would pray smpythy. Aron has mine.

  • This film is one of the best films ever!

  • 127 hours is the best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!! nothing can beat it. Go aron ralston!!!!!1

  • 6.5... you fucking bellend.

  • Definetly top 10

I watched it at my freinds house and i almost cried because you fell mixed emotions

For sure one of the best moveis ive seen

  • I knew about Aron Rolston's story before watching 127 Hours, so I almost didn't watch the movie. But when it started getting all the nominations for awards I decided to check it out and I'm so glad I did. My only regret is that I didn't see it on the big screen. If you know the ending, the movie is not "spoiled", trust me. You will be missing out on what will undoubtedly be one of James Franco's best performances in his career, if not the best. He's incredible.

  • PPL yakking from Blair Witch?? Because it was so bad? The worst film I've ever seen at the cinema . That said, I only went coz a mate said it was the scariest film in years & brilliant. It annoyed me so much, the only reason I stayed til the end is so I could see the characters die hideously & was even disappointed by that.

  • why watch a film and think "he's not really stuck it's just an actor" if you think like that why do you watch films?

  • So because the movie had some graphic scenes and caused a few people to faint or walk out, it is less of a film? Why?

  • wow people are pussies for leaving during the movie

  • I just watched it, It really makes you think about alot of things. Like damn...... Very good movie. Not the best, But one of a kind movie. Very very good. Youll never see another one like this. It is really amazing.

  • I cried my eyeballs out after I watched it the first time.

  • @theSneakySasquatch me too! and everyone thought i was stupid because i was just sitting there sobbing! but it's so thought provoking and inspiring and crazy, how could i not have?!

  • I like it and I wanted to cry after like the 3rd flash back he had. I loved it!

  • I liked it but after about 35 minutes of him loosing his mind it got old and I already knew what was going to happen about the kid and stuff

  • inspirational as in aron ralston's acts have inspired me to believe in the will the survive if i were to be stuck in a life or death situation.

Yes, if i had to cut off my arm then yes he has inspired me to do so in order to survive

  • the movie rating of 6.5 is horrible and inaccurate. this movie is a 8.5 at LEAST, it is one of those movies that you will be thinking about days after you see it. the story of aron ralston is truly inspirational, motivational, and influential.

  • @joedea0005 i respect ur comment i really do but...

how is it inspirational? it inspires u 2 cut ur arm off?

  • @xIxBeatZxIx ......smh

  • 6.5? 8.5? I'm sorry, but the movie deserves more. It was breath-takingly beautiful and extremely inspirational. It WILL bring you to tears.

  • What the Fuck!!!!! That dude is a retard ummm it was definitely a 10! I don't understand why he would say great things and then be like oh it was a 6.5 in my eyes... whatever it was amazing!

  • Why would you talk it up so much with very little negative feedback and then give it a 6.5? Sorry but you are a terrible movie critic. This will definately be in the top 10 without a doubt, I even thought it was better than slumdog millionaire

  • hey mr 6.5. u can suck my dick. its as simple as that. it was a fantastic movie

  • Comment removed

  • @kedharf1 ha lol wtf is wrong with u ?, listen to hyderulez94 -.-

  • He really missed the point. You're supposed to feel for the character, and he's supposed to be arrogant at first, then learn from his predicament. It's the easy Aristotelean tragic hero element of a story. That's the point of character development. But I guess if he didn't feel for Aron, then it didn't work for him.

  • God i hate the glasses guy. 6.5? It was oscar nominated you douche. All because some pussies in your movie theater got squeamish, "waaaah i felt like i was watching a movie!! waaah!!". You describe how Aron's arrogance prevented you from sympathizing for him throughout the movie, and yet your arrogance and stubborness prevents me from respecting or acknowldging anything you say. You're a prick.

  • Greetings From "Another Aaron"!

  • The cutting off hes own arm part reminds me of BERSERK!!!

  • @MrAnandrocker true it really does

  • You're not the most informal, that would be spill.

  • Hate ads? Use an iPod touch or iPhone :)

  • ok, i know this is kinda f*d up lol. But Aron Ralston could be a commercial GOD!!! :))) Swiss army knives, burritos... just sayin.

  • I'm glad I watched 127 hours without having seen the trailer...

    Every important bit gets shown...

  • amazing true story, but the whole time i was thinking - why the fuck would anyone put themselves in that dangerous situation without taking all absolute precautions

  • @RedNinjaTurtle23 He kind of explains in the movie that he was being an idiot

  • @TheBSxperience That is true. I guess I didn't articulate my point as well as I should have. What I meant to say was, his idiocy prevented me from sympathizing with him as much as the director wanted me to.

  • @RedNinjaTurtle23 Because some people believe "Fortune favors the bold."

  • Not grand canyon lady.

  • The part where he cut off the nerve in his arm with that sound effect were fucking intense in this movie.

  • @ImaginedWriter , I could barely stomach that. I finished watching it like 5 minutes ago and I had to walk out. The tendons... he is a brave man...

  • this is a very boring review

  • @3awsomeman4 what were you expecting, a song and dance?

  • @RedNinjaTurtle23 no i was expecting a more interesting review. i have seen interesting reviews on this film but this one wasn't. at least it wasn't for me. just my opinion.

  • The ads are there to support Youtube so that they can continue to provide this free.

  • @tominatr97 this comment is a failure, ever been on youtube before the ads in videos? guess what, they were on the side, they don't NEED TO BE IN THE VIDEO ITSELF

  • youtube is dead due to ads

  • 00:01

  • I already see enough ads on tv plus its very likely i nor anyone I know will do anything for it

  • I HATE ADS!!!!!!!

  • 00:1

  • click here for no ad 00:1

  • I'm never applying to Cooley Law School. DIE YOU ADS!

  • Got it on blu-ray today, an I have to say it is my favorite movie of all time.

  • @xXGhilliedxSamuraiXx you liked it more than Episode V or Raiders of the los ark or One flew over the cuckoos nest or Taxi driver or the godfather? wow but its a really good movie

  • @CyberPunkStefan I just have to say yes. As far as entertainment goes it was about a 9. You can not deny that this movie is hilarious, but then on the more serious side of things and message it would be a 10. And you know that is only 9.5 (Lol simple math.) However the movie just had more meaning to me, as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Godfather, and every other movie you said are amazing. Something in me says this is my favorite movie. I want to watch this movie 24/7 for some reason. IDK why

  • @xXGhilliedxSamuraiXx yeah it is a real cool movie

  • is it true that he cuts his hand

  • @patsygill Are you serious? That is one of the most incompetent comments I have ever read. First of all he cuts his arm off, and this is a true story. Why do you not know this about a great movie?

  • @patsygill He breaks his arm then cuts it off.

    Its worth it to survive

  • the guy in the middle with the glasses needs ta chill haha he seems like hes tryin to act so hard to be sophisticated lol.

    lmao

  • "this is about james franco, being trapped 127 hours underneath the boulders". No it's not, theres a difference between actors and characters.

  • we should be payed to watch these fricking advertisments I swear D:(

  • Who the hell goes to the bathroom in the middle of a movie?

  • I'm 16 live in UK and i had never knew about Aaron Ralston situation. Oh and about the review don't you think it pretty much spoiled the movie

  • @MrKneeyo not at all, it's a true story so it's already spoiled before you even watch it..

  • the guy with the blue shirt kinda looks like a wombat

  • It's funny that people are complaining about the YouTube advertisements, when I actually thought that the worst part of "127 Hours" was the soda commercial montage. I think we can all agree -- Most commercials just suck. Period.

  • okay for once I have friendly things to say about this review! Thankfully you guys must have enough brain cells to appreciate a movie in which most of the film involves very little action and mostly deals with the mental struggles instead.

Being a climber myself I definitely appreciate this story.

  • I agree with this guy. I don't like Aron Ralston either... So I couldn't connect with this movie. That being said great acting, directing etc...

  • a 6.5 and it wont be on the top ten im going to the top ten today and guess what movie im gonna be watching... 127 hours

  • James France said that the part where he cuts off his arm was underplayed as he was only one of the few other than his family to watch his actual vids. So I don't no why everyone is fainting? It's not even that bad, real life situation is like the horror movie where you think it uses over the top gore? When really that's what it would be in real life.

  • yeah he was on SNL :)

  • You want a 'TRAPPED' marathon?

    127 Hours- James Franco

    Buried- Ryan Reynolds

    Phone Booth- Colin Farrell

  • @BadlyBeyondBored you can also watch the CSI special where the character nick stokes is buried alive in a glass box

  • @BadlyBeyondBored cast away is better than all of those lol but all good

  • @BadlyBeyondBored Buried was so depressing at the end, I think i was tearing

  • What a fucking idiot. This is hands down my favorite movie of all time. Stupid shit, this deserves at least a 9. Incredible acting, cinematography, plot, suspense. Above average in every category. I don't know what you were on when you saw this

  • i saw this review before i saw the movie, i was really nervous, i have just watched the review again and i have seen the movie. 127 hours is the best movie of 2010, 1million out of 10 and that is the lowest score possible

  • If you guys don't know about this story you're fucking retarded. It was on national news. And him cutting his arm off? That's not a spoiler, that's like saying THE SHIP SINKS IN TITANIC OMG! dude, really.... XP

  • @hyderulez94 i didn't know about him at all, but some show called one tree hill referred to a guy cutting his arm and stuff that when i saw the trailer, i knew everything xD

  • @hyderulez94 WHAT THE SHIP IN TITANIC SINKS. YOU FUCKING BASTERD.

  • @MegaAgamer YES IM A DOUCHE LIKE THAT xD

  • how dumb r these people

  • I loved the ending to this film. it was uplifiting and I liked hearing Sigur Ros' 'Festival' in the background.

  • @Cinemadman and they played the best part of the song

  • You guys might as well have had ur arm stuck in a rock for the last 5 years if u've never heard of the story of Aaron Ralston

  • Spoiler Alert?

This whole channel is a spoiler alert! You give away so much about the movie to those who havent seen it.

Theres no point subcribing to this channel because you have to have already seen everything to watch your videos.

  • between a rock and a hard place?

  • uhh i didnt know he didnt make it with his arm. thanks dick.

  • @TheTcarr842 lol

  • did that asshole give the movie a 6.5??? This movie was amazing and in my top three of the year.

  • When i watched this in theatres someone got up to leave during the amputation scene and half way up the isle they fainted lol

  • Well I know who I wont be subscribing to, you spoiling wankers!

  • no u can skip ads by holding alt and f4

  • @zzdre Technically speaking, you wouldn't see the ads if you did that. 'Course, you wouldn't see the video either.

  • @zzdre lol

  • Holy crap you can skip ads now ~!!!

  • @FourCloudKings how?

  • @Zackeizer96 idk, i think youtube had it for like a day, the ad i got had a "Skip ad here" Button. It doesn't anymore :(

  • Is it just me or does this lady reviewer have a very sexy smile. Thumbs up if you agree

  • @vohshkab Is it just me or do you have a very sexy smile. Thumbs up if you agree that vohshkab has a sexy smile.

  • I didn't get any ads....

  • you know this was based on a true story

  • this is a shite review !

  • just watched it. message of the movie: if you dont give up on life, life won't give up on you.

  • @KoMighty so bassically kinda like saw?

  • amazing film....

  • at 12:30 does the lady know it's a true story.. and he actually brought a camera during the real event?

  • This makes me miss the old TYT set.

  • This is less of a review and more of a summary. i think this gave waayyy too much away for people who haven't seen the movie yet. it would have ruined it for me, though i don't watch reviews before i see the movie, but a lot of people do.

  • I hate these guys, they're so up their own arses. For me Due Date was a better film by far. 127 Hours was pretty boring due to fact that it was based on a true story which took away all interest for me, since it didn't have that unpredictable storyline that Buried had (another great film). In the end it was just a really dull film up until the being cut off part.

  • @Scottishrat22 Then you'll hate that this movie has been nominated "best picture". Due date was alright.

  • 0:01 skip adds

  • I refuse to watch videos with advertisements.

  • @TomxLx93 then you wont be able to watch any videos on youtube lol. since it was bought by google, ads have srung up EVERYWHERE and its so annoying, but not as annoyng as vevo

  • @TomxLx93 then i guess you and three other people are the only missing out

  • @TomxLx93 i thumb them all down

  • @thejademonkey1 newsflash dipshit, its a movie. He should have altered reality.

  • The evil ads have become immune to F5, CURSES!!

  • @GameJunkie66 THE ONLY WAY OUT.. IS SCUICIDE!

    ALT F4!!!

  • @GameJunkie66 Just download a program to get rid of them such as tubestop. It prevents videos from auto loading when you click on them so you manually click play instead. This prevents the ads from showing up. Ya it isn't perfect but I would rather waste one second manually playing a video then 30+ seconds on these bull shit ads. Give it a try. Its worked on every video I watch except for college humor ones for some weird reason.

  • @GameJunkie66 The are evolving! We must stop the spread!

  • @RedSandStudios YES, but how?!?!

  • @GameJunkie66 why the hell are the 2 most thumbs upped comment on this vid about ads

  • @GameJunkie66 google "ad blocker plug in" with the name of your browser at the end works for me (:

  • @GameJunkie66 Out of curiousity I pressed F5 and it refreshed my page... Now I have to watch the ads, AGAIN

    -___-

  • These people are extremely obnoxious. Why are they talking with a false sense of power?

  • For once I agree with Christies rating. A solid 9/10.

  • JAMES FRANCO DESERVES THE OSCAR FAR MORE THEN COLIN FIRTH.

  • No we dont all know the story, no we didnt all see this in the news. There are spoilers in this video that dont take them into account. I would advise you dont watch this or the trailer and just go and watch it.

  • DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO. THE FIRST 5 MINUTES IS NOTHING BUT SPOILERS. HERE IS A TIP: IF THE TRAILER DOES NOT INCLUDE OR SHOW IT, DON'T TALK ABOUT IT. COME ON, REALLY?

  • The edge is a shit film why mention that compared to this great film? lol

  • James Franco deserves an oscar for his performance

  • when I went to see this some guy fainted or had a stroke or something at the arm cutting scene LOL I didnt get to see the ending cause they called an ambulance :/

  • @dynastyxl haha was the amputation scene really THAT bad??

cause im a little scared of watching it if itll make me faint

  • @MrBlahblehblahh its not that bad lol well it looks real but I cant see why people would faint ahaha

  • this 3 dum pieces of shit ruinned the fucking movie for me... thanks a lot wtf

  • @fulanodtal2

This is a really well known story. You've never heard what happened to him?

  • Is this film any good?

Im not going to listen to these cunts.

  • @est1993getme im still in trauma. its brilliant. as far as keeping the pace its decent but it effects you emotionally and physically its the best you can get. as far as how graphic it is. its pretty dam effective visually and soundwise. definettly worth seeing. and the majority of the audience were left sitting traumatised through the credits so yeah its easily in the top 10 this year

  • @realMUSICisMUSE Yeah I watched it shortly after I posted the comment. Its a sickkkk film, so good. The cinematography was fucking brilliant and the split screen shots. Very unique and well shot. Amazing how one person being stuck can have such an effect and a great film based upon it.

  • the scene where he cuts his arm off isn't that bad. Doesn't even come close to todays horror flicks

  • @HomeMadeVinyl yeah but it does look real, most stuff looks fake

  • he woman gives far too many high scores, and i dont know why people complains about the other guys, the middle guy makes the show when he is on it

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking hell, the arm cutting isn't even that bad...

  • The woman is especially retarded.

  • When the hell are they gonna release a torrent of this film?!

  • @lololFilip last night

  • @lololFilip i found it yesterday....

  • Why do they try so hard?

  • @3122tan how has this bean on the new sence 2003, didnt it just come out in 2009? The actor has ean in like 5 other movies sence 2003

  • @nousername03 are you dumb? he's saying it's been on the NEWS it's a true story DAMMIT! Somebody get this kid type to learn...

  • This movie is a milestone for future movies. It brings to you a rare wisdom without seeming too pushy about it and leaves you feeling as if you had left that canyon. Truly a great movie with great cinematography: 10/10

  • What are you talking about it was an amazing movie

  • I agree with Ben. It felt too much like a movie to me. In fact, it felt too much like Danny Boyle's last movie to me. It was filled with an almost postcard sentimentality that i despised. And I really couldnt identify with the Aron character either and I didnt find James Falco's acting all that engaging either (probably because I didnt like the character). I would agree with Ben's 6.5 or maybe even lower.

  • I was disappointed in this movie. For me, it didn't do Aron's experience justice. People exaggerated the amputation scene a lot. I don't understand people fainting from it at all. Bunch of pussies.

  • whatthebuck whattheflick whatthefuck is happening to channel names =.=

  • great movie, i personally think the ending would be better if he died after he cut his arm

  • @dawodchatha Damn u sicko. xD

  • @westcostmtvcustoms

its true, i hate how all movies end happily, this movie was an exception, but it still would have been better
