I'm relativly poor, and as such can't afford a gaming PC. Over time I've picked up all three of the latest gen consoles for about £300. I don't, however, pretend that the consoles are better. If I had the money I'd buy a good PC and never touch a console again. Kids, just because mommy only bought you one console doesn't mean that it's the best.

You're sadly mistaken. First off, people don't upgrade PCs only to play games. PC is ultimate in hardware, and can be used to much bigger extent than your crappy PS3. And lawl... You do know that I don't have to upgrade my PC in next 20 years (actually, I never need to upgrade it) and it'll be much more powerful than PS3. My PC is probably fast enough to EMULATE your crappy PS3! Plus, I won't need to upgrade my PC that much in time to come... Technology will come to the peek.

The thing that you are all missing is that the CryEngine 3 is a lot like the Unreal Engine. It is to be used in a variety of titles other than Crysis. Thats why the focus more on the quality of the engine than the quality of the game.

They made the Cry Engine 3 for Crysis 2. For those of us that have played Crysis And Warhead already I believe it continues the story line. But I don't quite understand how console players are gonna play the story line and understand? Crysis sets every thing up and its hard to believe you can jump right in it.
Console players don't deserve this game its not fair. I've got a ton of nut jobs that I talk to all the time that are for consoles. We give this game over to them they won't ever admit it was first on the PC and on the PC its ten times better. I say we let them enjoy their third world games because FACT Cry Engine 3 is ten times worse then the Cry Engine 2 it was dumb down for the consoles because they suck.
That games graphics is stupid!, my computer is 1 year old and has trouble watching the trailer! as for the game engine, I should think you can buy it, but only at a very high cost... Its like the unrealtournament engine who is used by Americas Army 3 and a few others...

We need much more powerful consoles! PC gamers are years ahead of consoles and will always be. I do have a small gaming PC but it is a slimline and its very small so customization is very limited. i'm thinking of buying a giant sized computer so that i can continue to add and modify it for a good while.

Take Fallout 3 for example, in order for Bethesda to make it run on PS3, they had to disable HDR and Anti Aliasing..
