i live in Brighton, uk, theres a french (paris i think) pirate radio station that some guy's broadcasting here by setting up a radio dish on top of a block of flats, the station's legit but its illegal to do that here, anyways i was listening and absolutely loved this. I had to remember some lyrics quickly and search for aaages and finally found this out! just shows their music is being played across the world:)

I got their album in my CD player when it got snatched in my car. This was my favorite song, I used to play it endlessly. I hope the guy(s) who stoled the player enjoyed the song as much as I did, at least it would have been somewhat useful. Great voice, haunting song... love it.

@kmacmuzikmafia27: a strip pit =strip/open pit mining, where they basically gouge off the top of mountains/hills from above, versus below ground, leaving scars on the land that last a long, long time. It's easier/cheaper than other types of mining, and can get at minerals/ore close to the surface faster. It's an ugly business to see & the methods used can be dangerous to unskilled workers doing it. Many people died in dynamite blasts/machinery accidents. Common in US states of Kentucky & Ohio.

One of the best songs of all times! If you have not seen OTR live; you must. It's a moving experience. Take someone you are intimate with for a spiritual experience. This song reminds me of finding strip pits near Athens OH and Meigs County back in the 80's. Swimming in the buff and loving life. It raises the hair on the neck.
