Thanks a lot for the video, I had already given up on my honda pilot 07, could't figure out how to put in the new glass, after your video and the magic screw, everything went smooth. You've save me $45! glass was 65+tax at affordable glass in Houston TX :)
Great tips - my 19 year old son replaced the vent window in a '97 Buick LeSabre in about 20 minutes. Luckily he didn't have to remove the door panel with power controls but the gasket/seal had to be cut as it is one entire piece around both windows, top & bottom. Cost $35 for the window at the junk yard. Thanks!
This is another reason I love Youtube. Its good for visual learners. Thanks a ton for your time and effort. You did a very thorough job showing how to repair the window.
This is why I love youtube so much. Its a visual learners paradise when there are ppl such as yourself who take the time to post and are thorough in their teaching.

Dude, you have just saved me a costly mechanic! I have put maybe 4 hours into trying to replace the same piece of glass, and was about to give! A big fat thumbs up from me :)
Thanks so much for this mate! Looked all over google and couldn't find what I needed. This was the exact same method i used with my Peugeot 306, except the bolts holding in the centre rod were in different places. Saved me a few bob! Thanks
Hey PovetyLabs, thank you very very much, thank god there are people like you who cares about other people problems and take the time to record a vid showing how to do things like that...I have to break my fixed window since I got my keys inside my car, it was easy to find a replacement window but spent a couple weeks searching in google, ehow, wikianswers, instructables, askhow, etc with out success and finally found your video. Thank You very much!!!
I searched on google and 'how to' sites before I tried youtube and they were all useless so I was just about to give up when your vid saved the day, thanks!
@dutchpuppy2 - actually this was the first broken window, I've had to open the door panels on car doors to service speakers, lock mechanisms, etc. before. The real "magic" here is learning that there is a screw at the top of the pillar between the two windows. The rest of it is largely reassembly in reverse of dis assembly. Thank you for your compliments..
I replaced the rear power window on my Honda Civic, and removing the bar was the key piece I needed to finish it. Thanks!

If you slide the frame in first then the gasket will be easier to put in.
