@GTAracer24 Truth be told, in 1991, tony would spin the right rear tire on asphalt tracks, leading to a blue "haze" coming from the back of his car, Thus earning him the nickname "smoker". Later, in the IRL, when his cars blew engines. it was then that it was shortened to smoke, and took on the new meaning.
I saw that, they did that for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s 2001 8 car he won the EA Sports 500 with, they sold it at Barrett Jackson. A couple of cars have made it off the line.

he lives in indiana. thats pretty redneck out there. maybe you should open your fat ugly mouth next time, no on asked you and you just end up sounding stupid. THANKS
As much of a hothead or as outspoken as he is, you cannot deny the fact that Stewart is always good when it comes to charities. I cannot believe he sold his own ring, uniform and helmet too. That just shows how generous he is.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. sold his Budweiser Chevy 2001 Cup car once time at the Barrett-Jackosn Car Auctions. Tony's was the second. I don't know what price Jr. raked in but it was a record that stood for a while until some sort of Corvette went for more.
WOW!! I cant believe he sold his cup car. Stupid question though how much does it cost to build a cup car? Were the 300k well worth it or was it below what they cost? Cause im thinking it should have gone for at least 500k
you want to know howmuch a staock car cost to build. well it has changed so much since the late 902 and early 2000s. The car of tomorrow although it was supposed to be more cost-effective actually runes around 500,000. the older cars like we are looking at here tend to only run around 350-400 depending on if your a big team or wat.

He drives like a dickhead but he's not the only driver to do things of this nature. He just makes his public because he's attention-starved. It's really cool and a lot of people benefit from him doing things like this but don't call him Mother Theresa just yet because there are a LOT of drivers who do a lot better things than this...like the VJC.
I can't wait to see how much the Corvette concept is worth... maybe more than 300 grand. As for this? now that the COT is taking over, why not sell it off for a good cause? Very classy!
2007/2008 the cars were looking great, whoever got that is lucky .

They were wrong about why they call him smoke, back in his USAC days if his motor blew it'd make a lot of smoke.

@viktoraensland yea, I messed up, I meant IRL not USAC because they were one racing league when CART and IRL spilt in 1996, for a while.
