es una musica excelente mencanta no soy un gran fan de la musica clasisa soy un novato en estas cosas pero aun asi me asombro cada vez que escucho una pieza de este magnifico artista =)
By far the best rendition on Youtube. I know people say these kinds of things flippantly, but I've seen a fuckton of versions of this song by different players on Youtube. This is not only the best version, but the sound quality is also amazing. Great interpretation.
I would give up everything to find out what there was happening in Beethoven head when he wrote this master piece... It is so wonderful, beautiful and scaring at the same time...
This is the best rendition I've ever heard of this piece. And the quality because he uses the 1912 Bosendorfer is unbelievable, I mean there are no words to describe it. I bought his CDs, and Blu-rays - EVERYthing is like a LIVE performance. He definitely has a gift from God. Not only his playing, but the way he knows how to record for such quality acoustics. BRAVO! I'll be purchasing more from him real soon. Love it ALL!!! NO one else even comes close.
Please people stop talking nonsense, this interpretation is one of the first that respects the classical style of Beethoven, my I remind you that Bach is "Baroque" and that classical music does not allow to make big rubatos or ritentente where there shouldnt be .....
People who say hes playing like a machine please learn a bit of what music is and whats the difference between Rachmaninoff or Debussy and Beethoven or Mozart for instance...
Very nice and respectful interpretation! Thank you
@BatterySonic This isn't being technical, that's actually the name of the piece. I'm not being picky about correcting technical terms just a bit confused why the name is wrong.
@xThAtLoCoKiD - They never go away. I'm a huge fan and just bought two of his CDs and can't wait until they arrive. I listen, and watch his hands on some of his videos and learn from him. I'm learning to use less pedal as he does for clarity. He's my teacher.
@arturoraul4 i watched the drama, and i think this song CAN be called a "virus" I feel like i've been injected with something, I'm playing this song right now....wish me luck on my recital soon ^ ^
this rendition's a bit too mechanical-sounding for me... sure you hear passion (thank you, beethoven), but there are still segments when the technique sounds too exact and technically overwrought, too lacking in warmth or flow or something along those lines
The mechanical execution is very much excellent, but I agree that it's all too calculated. I'm reminded of a quote: "By concentrating on precision, one arrives at technique, but by concentrating on technique one does not arrive at precision." (Bruno Walter)
This piece is just so utterly awesome. Beethoven's minor melodies can be so haunting that I can't resist a grin when I listen. :D And the playing is great! So perfect and smooth; excellent. Thanks for posting!

As much as I adore Mozart and Chopin's music, they are only worthy of being Beethoven's footstool.

...Why does the title say Allegro? :/
ExistentialiseJason 1 year ago
@ExistentialiseJason Allegro means "fast, happy" - it´s a Speed of this Song.
Raelyon 1 year ago
@Raelyon Surprisingly I do know what Allegro means. However this is the Rondo in C minor, not an Allegro.
ExistentialiseJason 11 months ago
@ExistentialiseJason come now you don't have to be so technical. It's good to know what your stuff but it doesnt have to be everything.
