  • why did u even put this on you-tube just post pictures on any website it would work 90% of the video is shitty shots not video so wtf?

  • This cooler supports a core i7-960 in normal state. and overclocked ? it works really well on the question of cooling?

  • coulda got a scythe mugen 2 for 45 bucks and it cools better than that monstrosity

  • Like lorry

  • V10 kinda sux... -.-'

  • Will his weight crack the motherboard ?

  • @tonytober No, all high end fans have a backplate which strengthens the area the fans connected. It's actually more like connecting the mobo to the fan...

  • pinche mugrero parese radiador de carro no vale verga

  • good job on the review, lol

  • very niceee

  • if i put this in my my haf932, will there still be space for sli video cards. gtx260

  • Put in some serious lightage man, I think HAF 932's just itch to be lighted in their insides lol

  • bad ass! how much did it cost ya?

  • what song is this?

  • would u be able to have 1 of these and a ram cooler fan say like the set of corsair dominator gt ram with the cooler

  • no you can't ^^ nor putting tall RAM either .

  • yea leds and neons are just for making ur case pretty and flashy but other than that they are pretty useless..handsome points when ur girlfriend is around..=D

  • just a simple red cold cathode looks amazing, but as soon as it starts to mix colors and flash, i think it looks cheap.

  • @flairzack girlfriend whats that? LOL xd

  • Why isn't the V10's down-firing RAM fan aimed at your RAM?

  • @BoogieWithStew

its Just hit Mobo layout doesnt let him, if he had it that way, the hot air from the TEC would be blowing toward his PSU, dont really want that, he has it pointed toward to back of his case, so he has it right.

  • @ BoogieWithStew

Because that his where the ram on his motherboard goes, it isnt his fault. (well, unless you count having a mobo with the ram in that spot, then ok, it was his fault lol)

  • after market cooling? I thought Intel boards weren't even meant for oc'ing? Shouldn't the stock coolers be just fine?

  • your cable management needs some work

  • ugly music

  • The text in the start of the vid says it's a cooler review. It's nothing like that. Only a collection of pictures and a vid.

  • only bad part about ur mobo that side fan is ment for ur ram XD

  • thats freaking huge

  • that's what she said

  • veryyyy Bigg

  • isnt the cooler sposed to be OVER the ram, as its a ram cooler..?

  • yeah i think the fan thats over the ram sucks air for the heat sink and the rest of the air hits the ram

  • Yes it sits over the ran on normal motherboards like I have.

  • well on his its sitting next to it.. :s

  • yes. but the ram slots are placed differently on his board.

  • no.. its a CPU cooler and it CAN help cool memory

  • yea..... i mean the haf gt red led's man dey r cool

  • yea nice.....

  • if u want a memory cooler get the v 10 if u want only a cpu cooler get a noctua cpu cooler

  • mate the case is awsome but urs sucks man u hav no dam led's or neons in ur pc... ur is like the stock case.. man add some red neons or some.. some led's man chek out my profile in another 10 days will show u mine

  • @brendanspurious666

like mine you mean! alot of leds! and neons!

  • yea ,, i do mean that sorry

  • What's so cool about LEDs and NEONs? It's a computer, not a fucking disco. I modded my case, but still no LEDs. That's for show-offers who have nothing to do but brag about theirs Disco-Like PCs.

  • That's like saying why paint a car? - it does the same job either way. It's for looks and to show off your hardware.

  • I can paint my case, like i did, and dont fill it with lights and stuff. You like, i dont, that's all there is.

  • Lol. Because you're old. Old people usually don't like such stuff.

  • @PhailureOfAnime Dude, i'm 17 y.o.

  • yeah it should fit in a cm 690:-)

  • does it fit into a cm 690?

  • it looks like a paintball hopper lol

    nice rig man

  • That V10 is for laptop)!!

  • Prolimatech Megahalems + A lot of other cheaper heatsinks > V10

  • nope.

  • Oh really? Do some research... Megahalems is the #1 heatsink AND it's cheaper, too. And the memory cooler is pointless if it makes it impossible to later add memory.

  • i have. the corsair h50 beats the tru abd negagalem.

  • For the first few months you are right... then buildup of coolant gunk, then radiator starts wearing away, then pump starts building stuff up and overheating, then you have... nothing.

And also, H50 only beats True on load. On idle, it loses terribly.

  • no lol. im pushing 4.2ghz with 1.35v core with a core i7. and i idle at 38c. and load at 66c. so how is the god like true winning?

  • How long have you had the H50?

  • bout 2 weeks.

  • Well, try to get as much performance as you can out of it while the H50 is still functional. Just remember to keep some money handy when it goes bad to buy a True or something.

  • it will last for a few years :)

  • Closed loop watercooling system and years do not fit in the same sentence. Do your research idiot.

  • you are quite moronic. it can last a few years. U need to do your research. obviously you have not.

  • How can it? It hasn't even been out for longer than a year, and already there are cases of clogging, etc...

  • ive never heard of that happenening. and btw. i have 2 coolmaster r4 fans and a true copper laying around. so if this goes. im fine.

  • Then that's great, then you have a valid reason to have an H50... a temporary cooling solution. And BTW, you can't have "heard of that happening" if you haven't been looking for it.

  • i have. so dont insinuate what i have researched. my h50 is my perm solution.

  • Keep thinking that... as you save up for a custom loop, I hope.

  • i dont have the skill to set up a custom loop./

  • It's not too hard when you REALLY WANT ONE

  • That motherboard is a complete waste, hehe. The whole point of the V10 is to cool both the CPU and the RAM, and on your motherboard the RAM is on top of the CPU which means the extra fan on your V10 is cooling nothing.

Would have been better off with a Noctua NH-U12P for 1/3 the price, or even the Thermalright IFX-14 with a couple of fans for less money.

  • To AeonDeity - There are. The 922 is a mid tower ATX case, the 932 is a Full Tower ATX case. Meaning, the 932 is much larger and can hold a lot fo this much better than the 922. It also stays cooler because of better airflow

To zionstepper - No, there are no AMD motherboards that can support tri-channel RAM Memory. 4gb is great as it is, then just step it up later and get another 4gb, giving you 8gb total.

  • are there any motherboards that support Tri Channel ram feature and support AMD CPU's . dont have the cash to go intel yet :(

  • @ zionstepper

    Not yet !

  • I just did a newegg search on that for ya cause I was curious about that, and there were still no tri channel ddr3 amd boards found, Intel doesn't cost that much more anyways. there's some really sweet setups out there, I would be more then happy to help you find a good system for cheap.

  • are there any disadvantages of getting the haf 922 over the haf 932?

  • LOL at the v10 being so big because of the added mem fan for coolen your ram but your board as the mem ontop for the cp so it takes aways the whole purpose of it.

  • yeah I agree it made the very cool military looking side window completely pointless. Why such cheap RAM & motherboard? & why didn't u list one fo the most important specs, your PSU?

  • also you can route the sata power cables using the hole behind the psu, it looks better :) and you get better airflow too.

  • hi! i hope someone can answer my question about this v10. can the v10 fit if i have a asus striker II formula motherboard and a corsair DDR 2 gaming memory? I think the corsair's too large. But i still need someone's opinion or someone who have experienced it. thanks!

  • if you have the fan on the corsairs then it won't if it doesn't it should work fine, the 2nd fan on the v10 works like a ram cooler too, so it's going to be fine without them

  • already bought the V10. And the Corsairs fit perfectly underneath the RAM fan! also thanks for this video

  • 2nd time watching this vid, and I must say again, the V10 is so freak'in massive. Not sure if that's good or bad. What are your temps with that big boy?

Read your comments on the wrong mobo being installed, I hope you can get that fixed. Did you not notice that at the time you picked it up from whoever built it?

See next time you'll have WestCoastMods build you a Extreme Rig, so you won't have to deal with these problems. lol

    Cheers

    LazyMan :-)

  • temps , with that cooler ??

  • Hi! You are not wrong in did! That was the first board i had but in the shop were i bought they breacked down the sata conections on the board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they simply (and without telling me) put the intel x58 stupid motherboard! I am fighting the shop in justice! i just whant a new board! Asus rampage II extreme is the one i paid for so... like the gtx285, i paid for an ASUS and they put a MSI!!!! Stupid people! i am whaiting now but i'll soon change it and than post a video... thanks!

  • thats dumb, why did u get the intel board, the asus is wayy better. tell the store u bought it from to give you BRAND new parts, or just tell them i want the money back.

  • @jzingarus huh?

  • I love the V10 but looking at your video. I thought the whole idea was for the extended arm of the v10 to cover the ram. Your ram is in the wrong place. I would recommend changing your motherboard to a rampage 2? if im wrong on the matter nevermind

  • i like both v10 and v8 took v8 couse of the looks ^^

  • holy bugger at the size of that cpu cooler...i knew they where big but not that big

  • that cpu cooler is not for the cpu alone...you got it for nothing because it is also to cool your memory and your ram is not even where it is suppose to go. its on the top instead of in the back

  • haha ye your right a well.

  • can u change the fans in it

  • yes u can

  • where is the review? -.-

  • v10 is good.. just replace the 2 fans with a higher rpm..

My Cpu is only 25-31 for 6 hours use...

  • Too bad the ram on your mobo is above the processor, the v10 doesn't help cool it at all.

  • V8 is better than the V10.

  • is it true? proofs please.. because im gonna buy the v10 within 3 days. and i dont wanna waste money in it.

  • i agree. but the noctua NH-U12P SE1366 is better. (see my comp videos)

  • I run the 920 @4ghz 33c idle/45c load

  • sry. i dont want to attack you, but i think the v10 is only a funny gadget , because look at actual tests, you get cooler with nearly the same power for 30% of this price

  • The V10 is commercial shit for people who don`t know where they should spend their money in.

Coolers which only costs 30-35€ are better than this. and if you you use the compressor int he cooler it takes about 40-50 Watt , sry for my bad english

  • Your info doesn't say its overclocked put PLEASE tell me it is. Or else its a waste of a V10

  • V10 sux, because it blow hot air on Your CPU, better to get Megahalem, True, CNPS 9700NT(LED), Xigmatek or Scythe

  • no, it doesnt, it helps ram.

  • how is the preformance?

does it swamp the Dark knight?

  • Dear V10 User...Just wan to understand did your V10 sound weird???

my one keep beeping is that normal?

  • uhhm i think it shouldnt be beeping at all. it's not normal. coz mine isnt beeping

  • single beep is fine. it is probabbly beeping because he connected the case speakers.

Or the intel board allready has built in speakers for diag.

  • you can use other 120mm fans as you whant... About energy i don't really know the energy that the cooler speds but probably in the teck specifications it appears... I have to check that out as well! Thanks!

  • so I am able to buy my own blue led 120mm fans and replace the red led fans correct? from looking at other vids it seems high possible. so far i have all of my HAF 932 cans with a blue led, included the 230mm front fan. Also how much energy does all of this stuff really use? i have a haf932 with 4 side blue led fans, 2 fronts fans, 1 bottom fan, 1 back fan, and 2 top fans ALL with blue led. i like silent fans lol

  • You know the v10 is a waste of money. i was reading a bunch of CPU heatsink/cpu coolers you only see a 2 degree difference from other third party cpu coolers (i.e. zalman series 9900 and the thermalike). The best is til water liquid which lowers your cpu almost double digits. but then again. Hmmmm... i think its just a waste of energy and money.

  • which uses more energy?? liquid cooling or air cooling?

  • What you said is nothing more than a war upon preferences... Most of those that says the cooler isn't good always say that other brands are better... First we try it, than we comment upon it... Watercooling? Nahh! This "wastes" the same energy and is really as good as WC and coust half of WC... Nice try...

  • i have a question, is it really true that v8 is better than v10 in cooling?? iam suppose to take the v10 for my phenom x4 940.. im i on the right track?? or is the v8 better?? please reply,, i badly need your help.

  • V8 cools about 7 degrees cooler than the V10, which will come in real handy if you are going to overclock.

  • How much that cost ya ?

  • you mounted it the wrong way

  • Are u sure? Look close to the motherboard and you will see that the memory slots are in a unusual side! But i'm going to exchange it and upgrade to the Gigabyte Ex58 Extreme...

  • that second side fan is meant to be over the ram cooling it, but i dont think that matters....as long as its cooling something then your fine.

  • no its correct

  • wow..so huge

  • cabelmanagment needed dude..

  • Ya! :)))

  • Only for older processors that arent overclocked, the v10 has a TEC in it that turns on when the cpu heats up so it doesnt shine unless you have a good cpu. My guess is you bought a v8?

  • no bro i just read a review from maximunpc and thats pretty much wat they said i was considering getting the v10 just because it looks awesome but if it works for you then no review can take that away. apparetnly the best air cooler on the market is the thermalright ultra 120 extreme it crushes everything

  • I'm sorry but one side of that cooler is useless for your application you would have been much better off and got alot more performance from a thermalright cooler

  • this cooler BIG !

  • Similar to what I'm going to be building in june. I have a q6600 on a 790i with 4gb of 1600mhz ram and 2 9800GX2's all in a CM cosmos case. In june I'm getting that case, that cooler, and i7 940 and 12g of kingston, and keeping the GX2's. Our computers will look identical save for the graphics cards.

  • wah...Extreme Gaming Computer

  • That thing is massive ! Let us know how it performs. btw at the start of your vid you have V8, you probably already know.

  • Hi there! Yes its true i made a mistake in the video saying its the V8!!! NOT! Its the COOL V10!!! Thanks 4 the comments! Hope to have some news from you soon!

  • ya, the V10 looks awesome, hope it performs as such. I'm in the process of building a pretty extreme rig myself, and for the time being i went with the CM V8. If you have time check out my (in progress) rig.

  • haha

  • But dont get me wrong that thing and the rig is freakin sweet gotta love where pc's are going :)P

  • nice but mine will be on the market soon gets the same ore better temps with alot less crap lol i will be posting 1 more vid of it soon as soon as my lawyer approves it. I posted my old one on here for all to see hopefully soon i can show yuz what it looks like :) darn legal mumbo jumbo :( but you can still see the performance.

  • and by it i mean the HAF of course

  • how hard was it to mount the v10? it doesn't have a removable mobo tray... does it?

  • no it doesn't have a removable tray.

  • BUT its got the backplate hole

  • it tiz over 9000 black edition mudkipz

  • What are the temps with that Cooler ? The cooler looks like a motorbike's gas tank ;p

  • wat the big cooler lol...btw its nice..

  • Vista can only recognize 4 GPUs. Seeing as though the GTX 295 series is made up of 2 GPUs whithin the same card chasis, anything over 2 GTX 295s on a windows based system is completely pointless. LOL if you wasted your money on 3 295s and use Windows.. This isn't a comment on the video itself just more of a reply to those commenting about GTX 295s.

  • Vista can recognize as many GPU's as it likes but there is no drivers that lets either the motherboard or the Operating System go more than 4 GPU SLI.

  • if you want more than 3 gpus (most mobos support up to 3 gpus) youre gonna have to buy dual gpu cards like the 4870x2. that way you can go up to 6 gpus for extreme awesomeness.

  • um you can only have 4 gpus max

  • Ya it can have 4 SLI, it's true with that motherboard...

  • wow people on the internet are retarded u can only use two gtx 295

  • you are the retarded here .... you can put 3 gtx 295

    on a 3way sli mobo

  • You really don't know anything about GPU cards, probably about computers in general. Go back to Comodor 64.

  • it's true, you can put 3 gtx 295s on a 3 way sli mobo, one would have to be used for physx or would be useless but you "can" do it

  • Yeah, okay. Right. But I don't see a third useless card as "can".

Of course, you look at that 3-WAY SLI bridge and think, damn, I'd like to use it. But having three cards just because it looks nice would be the noobiest thing to do about gaming computers. If you want a PhysX dedicated card, don't go spending $500 dollars on it al least. Freakin god 'ole Ageia by BFG will do the job for $50.

  • You too are a stupid idiot.... in order for it to be called SLI there needs to be a three way SLI bridge for it to be sharing the graphics and there is no drivers that support 6 way SLI since the GTX 295 is 2 GPU's....

  • i said you can put them on a 3-way sli mobo, but neither of us said anywhere that they would be running in 6-way sli...

  • Your stupid... because there is no drivers for 6 way SLI! u dumb sht.... The GTX 295 has 2 GPU's and even if there was it would run at half the performance like if it were just one card so don't even talk...

  • I got 3 GTX295 in SLI and a x58 mobo with i7 EXTREME processor. How do I play "games" ?

  • i got 4 gtx 295 is octa sli on evga classfied motherboard u NOOB. i get over 200 fps in crysis maxed

  • ummm

    really?

  • nice please show me it i really want to see it sounds godly

  • Good thing I wore my b.s. boots to this video

  • that mobo has a weird layout

  • Nice Rig Dude

  • where the hell is your ram..

  • so the V10 Fits in your case wit your sidefan just fine? im building a system around the V10 and this case is God mode for cooling so t.i.a

  • Hi there! Yes it fits in the case even with the large side fan i have. This cooler was also tested in the haf mid case from coolermaster as well.

  • dude

your pc looks like a freakin tank inside-out!!!

nice specs, hope to beat it soon :P

  • lol this is my exact setup i thought about having in around juine

  • nice work, thanks for sharing the video!

  • DUDE I NEED THE NAME OF THAT SONG!!!!! PLEASE!!! btw nice system i will get one too.

  • Skunk Anansie - Milk Is My Sugar

  • sucks your ram is above it

  • no i have been holding off because i have been reading reviews after reviews and i didnt know if i wanted to build a new core i7 build or just build a new setup useing the q9550 or q9650 and also because of what memory to use with the core i7 build and what cpu cooler i just dont care for any of the core i7 cpu coolers thats all

  • i have been holding out for two weeks to do my new build because i dont know what to do so please reply back to some of my ? thank

  • what you need to do is do your own research online. go read up some reviews and check hardware forums.

you never know when some random youtube guy tells you some stupid shit and you end up listening to him.

youve been holding off your build for two weeks. hopefully not because you cant figure out whether the corsair dominator will fit behind the v10. a simgle google search gave me the answer.

there are better cpu coolers out there. the v10 and v8 are all aesthetics and sound generators.

  • and i see youre choosing the evga x58 motherboard. do you even know the pros and cons of each x58 motherboard or did you just find the x58 motherboard on newegg with the most reviews?

i see too many of guys like you that rely 100% on random youtube people to tell you guys what parts to buy.

but then i see youre selling an antec 1200 build so i dont know if youre really a newbie or not.

  • Tip: First see the V10 at work and than you can say that is or not a good cooler. Check the dB from V10 and of some of the best watercooling system you can find, and PLEASE tell me then that V10 makes noise!!! You are the one that dont know what is speaking! And by the way, this is not o CPU just for gamming, i work in 3D Programs as well! And PLEASE Check for the dB that the HAF 932 makes!!!

    V10 = 17dB

    HAF 932 = 19dB

  • do you know if CORSAIR DOMINATOR would fit with the cooler master v10 cooler and if not what brand of memory should i go with. im looking at the

ocz xmp and the ocz golds and the g skills but i dont know what brand would work the best with the evga x 58 board what do you think and have you had any problems with your memory and have you tryed to overclock them. im looking for a good set of memory i can over clock please reply back

  • i want to do a new build what do you think i should do. Should i build a q9650 and if so what board should i use. Should i use a ddr2 or ddr3 board or should i just build a new core i7 and if i go with the core i7 i want to use cooler master v10 cpu cooler but i dont know if CORSAIR DOMINATOR would fit because of the heatsink. what do you think i should do please reply back thanks
