and then the window for a disk will still pop up but u just click continue and it will skip it

it says that i need to insert opposing fronts disc but i have gold edition disc and it dosent work

i had that same problem too...until i disconnect my internet. The update pops out every time i run the game, the game rebooted after i finished updating it, run the game again...same thing happened.

When it says download patch click yes and when it has the download bar on screen click cancen then it will say try again try again untill it will say returning to main screen and it will soon say insert disc and just click continue that how i did it

you need to log in on that screen if you dont have an account create one, once you have done that and it lets you log in create a profile when you have done that it will take you to the home screen this is where you can play on singleplayer or multiplayer hope this helps

same propblem i think that turning off your internet works best i had to try it 3times then it worked worth a shot... =)

i have herd of 2 ways of fixing it (if you will) but i only no how to do 1 of them and that i to disable your internet and then play the game thats what i have been doing but

the other way is to fire wall the game i dont no how to do that tho
