somthing ive wondered. when you are sampling, do you usually not remove the drum sound off the original track? you just kind of work around them?

@ibetonyn M-audio 49 Keyrig . Its a midi controller meaning no sounds come with it, all the sounds come from what program you use (Reason, Fruity Loops, Ableton etc.). I had this keyboard. Its does the job for a good price . $100

@roko1dage He chopped it up in recycle, then loaded the samples into reason, and in reason the nnxt sampler.

hey... I understand how you chopped it up in recycle but how do you get it onto the midi keyboard

@pmandawg88 Save the recycle file. open a dr. Oct rex then you browse and look for your reason file and it should open. the chops will normally tend to be at the lower end of the keyboard. good luck..

only thing is when you do have a song you wanna finger fuck that's over 5 min long. You can't use it with Recycle 2.1 which I have. But other than that I love propellerhead programs. I have all the major propellerhead programs. They are real nice even for a beginner like me. I will go to school for this. Better than being on the streets thanks propellerhead. Nice vid and beat my g stay up peace.

Nice video. When you ate chopping the Rex up, did you place the chops on any grid lines?

Example 1/4 notes etc.. Or did you chop based on what you thought would make a good chop?

Question: is there a way to get a similar effect to time-stretching functions on fl studio.. i find that once i import samples into reason and speed it up the tempo goes out of wack. pitching up in recycle also does something similar. i went into recycle set up a 4 bar loop and then typed in 4 bars at the top and then pitched the loop up as it played ..and it went to custard?? what am i doing wrong?

@wsweetin he didnt cut the drums out the sample, thats impossible. The most you can do is chop the sample at the drums and make them mesh with yours
