The Didinga people originated from Omo valley in Ethiopia and are of the Surma tribe. They arrived in the current Didinga land in 17th Century, they left behind many of our own people. They're the tribes in Ethiopia such as majangir, Mela Kwegu, Tirima ( Mursi ) Kachipo.
I am really taking keen interest in this Chukudum people, culture and their language. Please, is there any Chukudum/Didinga speaking person reading this, let me hear from you... I am conducting a research since I came across this people... Please feel free to send me email to: realafrodk@yahoo.com
@RealAFRO hi my name is john laruwa, i was born in sudan and didinga is my tribe im sure i can help u out with ur research this is my Email john.lokang@yahoo.com
In all of your efforts please be sure to accept the Didinga people for who they are, help them to rise above the difficulties but be very careful not to change who they are. They have many things to teach us, many more things than we could ever teach to them.
I'm going to the Didinga hills in 2 months!!! I'm going with AIM and will be there until october to build houses for AIM's TIMO. I'm super excited and this video filled me with much joy and happiness. Is it from AIM? would I be able to use this video to show to my church?
