how sad the feminist books you read came across somewhat condescending.. I must say most books I'd read for gender studies were great, but I know what kind of book you are talking about.
Some in the social and political sciences manage to bring across major attitude even through the pages :)

I'm about to get in trouble but correlation doesn't equal causation neccesarily although sometimes it does. We should look at the reasons behind them.
I agree........When it was said that women pay more in hospital bill I thought......"Well ya they are going to because of child birth and other procedures and problems we as men don't have." And as for the name change thing do you suppose it could be a lineage thing? It's hard to keep track of families when most peeps go by the mans last name then you just suddenly go by the woman's. It's oppsite in Israel they go by the woman's last name i think. so it's hard for them to switch to the mans.

Double Standards suck for pretty much everyone. The only real difference between Guys and Girls is hormones and genitallia.
Aside from that they're isn't much of a difference. Humanity needs to grow up.
