@heikosmiley35 das ist der Originalsänger der Band (Oliver Bendt), er heiratete in der Karibik seine Frau Alicia, die aus der Karibik stammt und mit der er zwei Kinder hat, danach gründete er in Deutschland die Band mit drei weiteren Mitgliedern (Dorothy Hellings, Wendy Doorsen und Mario Slijngaard), heute treten sie in einer anderen Bestzung auf als damals, aber der hauptsänger ist immer noch der gleiche.

What I like about our European friends is they learn a foreign language English unlike us in the UK who expect everyone to learn our language, we are very lazy here in the UK but I for one is grateful bands like Goombay make the effort.

making the effort has a lot to do what the producers think sells more records; you hear artists all the time explaining why they sing English or German; there is a bit of a tendency for more German in music these days but if you want international success then you have to sing in English (Tokio Hotel had their first hit in German and rerecorded in English); German songs never make it anywhere outside German speaking countries
