  • Swingin!! Great band to say the least!!

  • Nice solo ..!!! : ))))

  • Great stuff !!

  • You're great!!!

  • Now that is some sweet music.

  • Dennis I'm gonna miss you dude.

  • Great group!- Thanks for posting- would love to see/hear more from this group! I've been searching for a video of Ralph Lalama and he didn't disappoint me!

  • Yeah man... Ralph's great! I studied with him at NYU and consider those lessons invaluable.

  • Yeah, that was kind of the idea, being a Tribute to the Masters of Modern Jazz Guitar concert. We played pieces by a bunch of the great guitarists of the 40s, 50s and 60s including Wes, Jimmy Raney, Barney Kessell, Grant Green, Pat Martino, Jim Hall, etc.

It was nice what you could do without major record label support when the National Endowment of the Arts still gave performance grants to jazz musicians (they cut that program in 1997). Everything has to be much more low budget now.

  • Great playing Rick, you really conjure up the great Wes Montgomery on this performance. And what a band!!
