  • hi, can i respectfully ask what your lineage is?

    kind regards

  • O thigo fas isso direto na AFLS, toda vez que eu to la treinando eu vejo ele fazer

  • Would you be opposed to posting your rattan ring form?

  • interesting. Thanks for posting!

  • for wing chun

  • this guy is a good dance. if you join the strictly come dancing show, you will win. hehehehe

  • something I dont understand is to keep pressure up on the ring so it doesnt slip the force from the arms is outwards [I think], this competes with forwardness that the forms teach. Are there some moves that are optimised for the ring and those that arnt.

I notice the practitioner here ignores the ring for punches and loops the ring on the shoulder for these moves and re-employs the ring when he needs it again.

  • thnx for posting this. The rattan ring is very rarely covered in Wing chun teaching material. The wooden dummy and biu gee get more coverage than this, (they use to be not really covered that often in early literature IMHP).

  • It's used In Mei Gei Wong WC and some southern Kung Fu Styles as Well not to sure about it though, seems to contradict some of the ideas In Wing Tsun/Ving Tsun.

  • I don't know who invented this idea. I've seen Randy Williams used it but I don't think is that useful, IMO.
