He was one of the greatest players to pull on a boot. That 8 weeks he got for hitting Caven was a joke, the guy was running with the flight of the ball. Had he been running backwards he would have got hit the same way and Lockett would have knocked him out and everyone would have said its part of the game. What do you expect if you run the wrong way with the flight of the ball, do you think you have right of way or what? It was a media beat up because of who it was

Man the GABBA has really evolved since then. It looks like a local football oval that you go up the road and have kick instead of a proper AFL ground, or stadium that it is now.
