Is it a tramway? Here in Spain there are loads of tramways in the cities.. and a loooooooooots of lines of Subway. Buses, Tramway, Metroligero's, and Metrosós.
There are a lots of ferro kinds of transports in only one city. And there are loads of cities with this transport.
One question. What kind of transport there is in L.A. apart from the Subway and the Tram? I like L.A. and i would like to know the city by his public transport.
@estebantxu93 Thanks for the comment. we don't call this train as tramway. we called them as LRT("light rail transit")and this is part of it. and we also have Metrolink, buses, Amtrak, & etc.
@singwith Wow, so i'ts good too. I love public transports, and their maps, and schedules. I love geography too, and i like all of this kind of things.
@singwith they can run up to 70, but the mta put a speed restriction to 55 tops. especially going throughout special parts of Pasadena. on the green line, the train has adverage speed of 65 mph
yeah, they'll need the three-car trains. in portland, if the the size of portland's downtown blocks didn't pose an issue (or if we ran the MAX underground), then the MAX could potentially be expanded to accommodate three car, perhaps four car, trains. we could really use it.

thanks for input
Metro might use "three car" set when the Gold Line east side extension opens.

I thought they use three car train during rush hours do they?
wiv098 3 years ago
no, they only use two cars.
singwith 3 years ago
Does the Gold Line allow them to blow the horn? On other videos when it went by I didn't hear a horn.
TrainScott 3 years ago
Hmmm, I'm not sure Gold Line allow to use the horn or not but I don't think Gold Line has horn on their cars. It's only two kinds of bells.
singwith 3 years ago
Only a bell I guess residents wouldn't like hearing a horn I did ride the Gold Line and I went by a lot of residential zones.
TrainScott 3 years ago
yea, if you live near by trackside, you don't want to hear the horns 24/7 unless you like trains.

I stoped filming them because of AT&T banner!
Do you live in Highland park area?
singwith 4 years ago
Yes.
The40MAC 4 years ago
that was because of a power outage between the Highland Park and Mission Stations. This resulted in Express service being canceled.

even the rose parade, (Jan 1st) they use two car trains while 300~500 people waiting in line outside of the train station in pasadena.
